Welcome, et bonjour. One thing you must understand is that what the Right inAmerica calls "Communist" is very much to the Right of the Socialist movement any place in Europe!
And what they call "Right" is so far toward fasism that you, as a French person, would want nothing to do with in your own, everyday life.

I very much disagree Though there is a difference between the right in Europe and the U.S. The main difference is that the Right in the U.S believe in policies that align with our specific Constitution. The U.S Constitution is an "anti-Facist" document.

 

It may be true "officially,". Because no political party in the US would survive if it went openly against the constitution. But in term of practical policies touted by the right, i disagree.

 

Welcome to PF. It's always nice to meet other people, and even cooler when they're from another country. I don't know any French myself but my name is French.
