Hello, I really like butterflies. I lean towards the conservative side on most issues.

 

We have huge Monarchs flying around here and tiny little white one that show up in the late afternoon and while they are not butterfly's we have huge dragon flies, they are real handy to have around, if not for them we couldn't go out at night because of all the mosquito's we would have around here.

Anyhow once again, welcome, have fun, and watch out for troll's, unlike mosquito's they don't bite, but like gnats they are annoying.

More advice-

Personal attacks will get you reprimanded/banned.

'You're stupid' is objectively a personal attack.

'That's stupid' objectively is not, even though it makes the same general point.

I am going to add to this, watch out for folks who try to bait you into a personal attack and then quickly report it, if someone ever tires that just understand at that point you have already proved them incorrect and they are trying to get even.

Sometimes I just push a few more buttons other times I do something totally off the wall like, "I love it when you post nasty to me, please beat me some more." Either way it stops the effort.

 

Hello. I'm sure you'll have a chuckle here, this place is inhabited by all sorts; including an ample supply of self proclaimed experts on everything, keyboard warriors and total nut jobs....they're all here....have fun........and remember its the internet....don't take it too seriously....

 

While I am part of that group, I believe there is not an ample enough supply of us to go around.

We have lots of vacancies would like to fill one of them.

 

I tend to think of it as dodging the insecurities of the perpetually overly emotional.

I've found that in discussing different topics with different people it's impossible not to learn new things especially as you research the topic at hand to build a better argument for your position.

I also feel that it is entirely possible to differ with someone even on volatile subjects without becoming snarky or hostile. Generally, the more secure a person is on their position, the less likely they are to become abusive.

Anyway, I look forward to reading your comments and hope you will enjoy yourself.
