Hi everyone. I'm a 17 year old interested in geopolitics and current affairs, so I think I'll be here for a while just to discuss politics since I despise discussing it with people I know. Depending on who you ask, I'm a neoliberal globalist that hates white people, or a far-right Russian/Trump troll, but really I'm just a moderate, open minded guy with a penchant for evidence-based policy. Hope I can make some friends on here Slàinte mhòr
It is unfortunately true that the Moderate and Centrist position in American politics has become something of a negative. This Phenom has been happening for some time but has been given steroids with the Trumpist movement by both parties and their corresponding representatives in government here. What was once Republican is now considered Liberal and insulted or shunned by the new breed and "liberal" the ultimate dirty word. I do not even know what to call myself anymore so I am an Independent and have come to enjoy it, if only to be separated from what passes for Republican anymore.
Dobro pozhalovat'. I'm curious what you would say that might get you called a far-right Russian/Trump troll. Personally, I'm anti-Trump despite never having been a Democrat. I find the constant lies, the gross incompetence and the cult of personality appalling.
Usually not being a partisan hack is enough. Asking for evidence for XYZ claims made by hyperpartisan social liberals is an easy way to bait out the response as well. I consider myself anti-Trump as well but I'm willing to give him credit where credit is due. That as well as the fact he's a sexual deviant and probably a crack addict.
But he does constantly lie, is clearly grossly incompetent and very much fosters and relies upon a loyal, devoted cult following. Why joke about this? It is not hyperpartisan to point these things out and acknowledge them, nor do you need to stop giving him credit where it is due.
No I was agreeing with you on these things. Yeah I wasn't talking about those specific things, its just been hyperpartisan liberals that tend to call me that.
OK. "Probably a crack addict" made me think you were mocking, because that one seems highly unlikely. Not too sure about the sexual deviant stuff, either, though he does seem to have a history of using his wealth and influence to take certain liberties and silence certain people.
