How is suggesting increased government investment in renewables R&D asking you to give up your liberties?

And the 'top' seems to be willing to spout the data, yet doesn't do anything demonstrable to support the subject.

I consider myself 'light green'. I do what I do, because I believe it's the right thing to do for the planet. The big difference is, I don't inflict my beliefs on other people or demand they comply with a program that ends up being valueless because the majority of the manufacturing that causes the greatest amount of pollution is in countries were there is no regulation.

I don't believe that climate change is caused by mankind, and that it can be 'stopped'. And in this particular case, change could come from the bottom up, on a voluntary basis.

Oh I read it, it just doesn't have anything to do with what I asked.

Name a climate prediction in the last 70 years that came true.

    House carbon tax.

    Shoe carbon tax.

    Per-exhale carbon tax.

You probably haven't put much thought into it though.

When a third of the worlds carbo emissions are coming from just 20 corporations, most of which are in the energy business, a bottom up approach doesn’t cut it. It’s like tackling the national debt, a penny a day.
We as voters have to demand change and more sustainable policies.

    LoL.

Let me see if I got this right.

The Democrats who run the companies, who fund the politicians you vote for, are going to let you defund them.

    L

*edit. Sorry was laughing so hard I couldn't finish. That last line should be "LoL"

You must be trying to make me laugh.

I've asked you the same question every time.

You know, the one you keep desperately avoiding.

Put much thought into what ever absurd scenario you’re dreaming up right now? No, I can’t say that I have.

The people I'M voting for have proposed and promised 500,000 new electric car charging stations across the country.

    No, you're right.

The Green New Deal contains far more reasonable goals, like tearing down and rebuilding every building in the US before we all die in 8 years.

This is better than any comedy special.

    LoL sure.

Are we talking about the state that currently can't keep the power on as it is?

Didn’t avoid it. You don’t like my answer then asked it again, with a 70 year modifier for some reason.
    I don’t chase goal posts.

    You didn't answer.

I gave you 70 years to open up your opportunity to provide an answer.

How many years would you like? 100 ? 200?

    Ok.

Name a climate prediction that came true in the last 200 years.

These companies that do all this polluting.

What are they doing that creates all this pollution?
