Get used to the term. It will be evoked, rinsed and repeated multiple times in the next months. Trump will attempt to conceal information that comes out from the Mueller investigation from the eyes and ears of the general public claiming that the information can be withheld if he merely claims 'executive privilege'. This is what Hope Hicks, Steve Bannon and others claimed in order not to be compelled to answer questions by the House Intelligence Committee headed by Devin Nunes.

Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton also tried to cover up information to the public by claiming 'executive privilege'. Nixon wanted to hide the fact that he had tapes and other materials that proved his crime. Bill Clinton tried to resist subpoenas. Both claims, Nixon's and Clinton's, were overruled by the courts.

Yup - the slipup shows there is fire alongside that smoke, that the witchhunt has found some witches. There was conspiracy to coordinate with a US adversary to help elect Trump. The only remaining questions are a) did Trump know and b) can Mueller prove it? My guess is that with all the players who are now giving evidence - he's screwed.

 

Obama concealed all the Fast and Furious information linking himself and Eric Holder to that fiasco which armed Mexican drug dealers and resulted in the death of US border agent Brian Terry.
