    I'm also a Flaming Lib, though not Californian :)

    You'll find that there is plenty of tolerance of (as in, not being killed for) a variety of politics here. There are some hystericals of course, but we regard them as our exotic pets. Have fun!

    I'm fairly conservative, moderate on some things. I have little in common with liberal progressives. But, I enjoy interacting with people who don't agree with me as long as it's all respectful.

    Welcome. I always enjoy seeing another Californian on the forum. I'm up north about an hour or so inland from San Fran so it's pretty conservative in my neck of the woods, though I lean fairly left.

    I rest my case! Seriously ... I think we all have suspicions about fellow posters. I pay attention to the # of posts one puts up on avg. One former poster used to log almost exactly 100 a day. Frequently more, but almost never less ... 5 days a week.
