Although I am a member of Canada's Conservative Party I truly am impressed
to have received this invitation to several Town Hall style meetings centred on
    climate change and electoral reform.

For starters........ I would comment that I do agree with the Conservative Party's
official statement that I read a week or two ago that significant changes to
    Canada's electoral system should
be made only after a nation wide public referendum to get the opinion of the
majority of Canadians on this issue.

That being said...... I have to admit that I am impressed that town hall style meetings
have been scheduled in Central - Nova to discuss both electoral reform as well as
how best to respond to climate change.

Although I admit that much of what I wrote in my 2008 primary campaign writing about climate change was seriously flawed I
do stand by several statements that I wrote there:

Central - Nova Member of Parliament, Mr. Sean Fraser:

    Honorable Mr. Minister Fraser:

I have been making public statements on climate change since 2007
and I recently began to question if my concerns could perhaps be
    terribly exaggerated?

    Geology, physics, high tides question.

Mr. Fraser..... I just got back a truly brilliant answer that demonstrates both a full understanding of
the complexity of the question........ and the answer!

I would have to agree that a carbon tax or cap and trade system would
have been a terrible waste of time and money for many reasons.

One of them being that lawyers with a background in the environmental sciences.....
along with bureaucrats would have hijacked the legislation and made it nothing more than
    another money making scheme.

The Carl Cantrell alternative theory on climate stabilization on the other hand does fit
very well with Isaiah chapter 35 and seems to be a win - win - win - win measure for pretty
much all of us....... with the possible exception of war lords and arms dealers?!

    Isaiah 35:1

The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

    Isa 35:6

Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

Although I am a member of Canada's Conservative Party I hold our local Member of Parliament Mr. Sean Fraser in high regard.

I am issuing him a friendly challenge for him to pass on to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau because
I personally am very worried that we Canadians might NOT fully rise to the occasion to assist
President Donald J. Trump and his administration and all Americans with what I perceive as a
significant threat to the national security of the United States........
    and potentially Canada.

But the interest in this subject in a way sets us Canadians up to play an important role in seemingly pressuring
large companies to release certain technology so that they can become immune to patent violation lawsuits by
oil companies...... who technically.... may own the patents on products that they may soon release.........

I am hoping that the pressure to release this tech comes all the way from the White House.... and we Canadians can make it look like it is our fault.... that
the Trump administration puts pressure on the big auto manufacturers to release this.
