Sorry, I had a typo in my post. While I am concerned about injuries, but the risk of injury is part of most sports. At the same time, the risk from a guy plowing over a girl is greater since men are already stronger and seem to be able to absorb more punishment.

Let's say there's a 220 pound man playing on the girl's softball team and he's coming in hard to second in order to break up two, would you want that SS or 2nd baseman to be your daughter? Or how about if that 220 pound man is barreling towards the catcher in a close play at home/ Again, would you want that catcher to be your daughter? And then there's girl's ice hockey, you can see how a man of good stature and strength would dominate and possible cream many of the girl players on the other team, don't ya? and when all these games are over, that 220 pound man gets to shower with the girls. Are you happy with that?

I don't think it's much of a difference; on the other side of the coin, you could have a 220lb female come barreling toward a 140lb female or male and have the same results. There is a risk in playing sports, the parents have to assess the risk and make a determination if its in the best interests of their child.

Religions are still free to define marriage as they choose.
Only gov't recognition of marriage has expanded. And now those victims are able to be legally treated as other couples who marry.
So there are less victims in the world. That should make one who cares about victims, happy.
