Then explain the likes of David Katz and Ian David Long, both of whom had permits to purchase firearms, and both of whom went on to commit both mass shootings and suicide immediately after.

If someone already has a gun, will a waiting period affect their suicide?

If a waiting period of 'x' days says a certain number of lives, wouldn't a waiting period of 'x +1' days save more lives? What your suggested waiting period?

Cool. Seems like an efficient way to get rid of losers.

Do you mean the law may not work perfectly in every situation? What law does?

What I find interesting is many on the left, including you, hold the narrative that suicide is an impulsive thing where the presence of firearms is a factor in acting on that impulse. Yet, the justification, in part for BCs, is to prevent those flagged in the NICS as suicide risks from acquiring firearms to carry out a suicide and laws establishing waiting periods justified by a ‘cooling off period’ or delay to give a suicidal individual time to ‘come to their senses’. Someone making the decision to shop for and acquire a firearm for purposes of committing suicide, almost by definition, means they are executing a plan, not acting on immediate impulse in the presence of a gun.
Most studies I have seen that link acquisition of a gun to suicide, do so by time measures not within a day or two, but within 1-3 years; far beyond the scope of any prescribed waiting period justified on that basis. In addition, I have yet seen a study by anyone that remotely comes close to show impulsivity of those committing mass shootings followed by suicide; rather in virtually ever instance I have seen are those that in the wake of most large scale attacks, find these individuals did things like accumulating the means, stockpiling weapons and ammo, venue selection, creating victim lists, etc. that were often detected/missed as warning signs by others but lend to suggest detailed planning and intent exhibited over time, something BCs and waiting periods would be ineffective in preventing. While many laws may not be fully effective, but might be justified by the rational for their establishment (I.e., murder, rape, etc.) many advocated for gun control are build on logic resting in quick sand and do nothing to provide solutions.
As an aside, I own guns to dissuade pink elephants from invading the US. I am protecting people from the danger they pose. Thus far, it’s working. No one has been reported injured by pink elephants since I came to the US and acquired guns. If you ponder that for a bit, it’s similar logic gun control advocates use frequently. But still, numbers, in this instance, don’t lie.

I thought the Left was Pro-Choice (when it's a human being in a womb) ?

Put a few regulations and checks on Abortion and we can also prevent women who may be a bit impulsive, when it comes to the choice of death.

Abortion has regulations on it. It is much harder to get an abortion than a gun in some states

That's from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health - named after gun ban fanatic Michael Bloomberg after he bought the school for over $1.8 BILLION.

Bloomberg needed an "academic" group to manufacture data to support gun control and gun bans So he bought Johns Hopkins.

Try again, you fail as usual.
