I think it's hilarious. I'd like to give the kid a high five for his sense of humour. Besides, whoever put that deeply corny statue in a public place, in that position, was clearly asking for 'trouble'. You can only assume they thought the world had stopped turning in about 1954. I'd wager, too, that the 'artist' isn't familiar with the graceful art of fellatio and its attendant rituals.

I'm sorry Pennsylvania but your law is twisted.
So would I'd been arrested for "cupping a feel" on female statues? I see people do stuff like this all the time to statues. The land of the free is anything but.

I think it is terribly stupid, "humour" at best in name.

However, I don't think anything about it should be illegal. If the action was performed in order to outrage, then sure, but if the intent was to be funny, taste is the only thing they've violated.

Edit: The pun on statutory was amazing, though.

What crime, other than the crime of being an idiot?

If it's on somebody else's property, possibly trespassing, but other than that, I can't think of one. He'd better be glad Christians have a sense of humor. If that had been a statue of Mohammed, there would be worldwide calls for his death. (that is if religious statuary were allowed by Islam).

really? I love kid humour, it's so delightfully simple and toilet-ish, and its novelty value wears off far too quickly IMHO. sigh ... the innocent delights of teen-hood, before we became too sophisticated and jaded to have a good larf at something silly and prattish.

agreed on the pun though, a definite high five for that.

LOL, thanks for the comments - I feel better now. I thought I was the only person here who thought the whole thing was funny. :)

Oh no, it's quite hilarious. though I think a good part of the reason it's so funny is that the statue itself is so god-awful. Evidently whoever commissioned their uncle/cousin/brother/mother to 'craft' it has a very rudimentary understanding (if any) of the concept 'less is more'.
