I would love to see Tulsi call out Hillary in person.

Hillary would absolutely come second in any confrontation with Tulsi Gabbard. The main reason is because far more women "like" Tulsi Gabbard than Hillary Clinton. It means that anything confrontational said by Hillary will be declared bitchy and anything confrontational said by Tulsi would be declared provoked by Hillary... she knows this too.

Let's say Trump wins in 2020. (I am not confident of that, btw. Wish I could be.)

When 2024 comes around, Tulsi will have name recognition from 2020, and she will have had 4 more years in Congress. That is when she could become a major Dem candidate. I could see her getting the grass roots support like Trump did and simply steamrolling over the DNC/media elite.

I have often said about Trump that I support him because I agree with his policies even if I don't especially admire his personal side. To hold true to that, I would have to make my voting decision the same way if it were Tulsi vs the Republican candidate. As much as I like her, it's got to be a decision on policy, not emotion. I am not a Progressive. Tulsi is. But she is right on foreign policy. Being wrong on foreign policy can mean killing our own children for nothing and millions of people in other countries that are no threat to us, along with the astronomical waste of money that goes with it.

So, for me to vote against Tulsi, the Republican would have to be right on foreign policy. If the Republican is wrong on foreign policy, if they nominate a Lindsey Graham style warhawk, I would probably find myself voting for a Democrat for president for the first time in my life. On that which I disagree with her on policy, I could live with. And virtually everything has to get through Congress anyway. She would be a president with whom I may disagree with on a lot of things, but who, at the same time, I could like and admire for other things.

This is why I have said she is the best of the Dems, and if Trump had to lose in 2020, I would prefer that it be to her.
