Hillary Clinton will run for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020, according to a former adviser and a top Democrat in New York.

Mark Penn, a pollster and senior adviser to former President Bill Clinton and ex-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton from 1995-2008, and Andrew Stein, a former Manhattan Democratic party figure and New York City Council president, wrote Sunday in a Wall Street Journal opinion piecethat the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee would not let "two stunning defeats stand in the way of her claim to the White House."

"Mrs. Clinton has come unbound. She will not allow this humiliating loss at the hands of an amateur to end the story of her career," Penn and Stein wrote of President Trump, explaining how Clinton would re-package herself as a more liberal "Hillary Clinton 4.0." "You can expect her to run for president once again. Maybe not at first, when the legions of Senate Democrats make their announcements, but definitely by the time the primaries are in full swing."

Guess she's been planing this while roaming the woods around Chappaqua.

I wonder if she's going to place the DNC under her thumb like last time, marginalizing other dems.

Trump will beat her like a baby seal.

    Mark Penn? :roflol:

As much as the RW would love to have another shot at 24/7 Hillary bashing, it ain't gonna happen.

Will hope it's true, but if anything, HRC will be used as a stalking horse in 2020.

If Democrats want a chance, they need to find a relatively unknown, younger, charismatic Democrat establishment machine politician they can successfully sell with empty slogans and lies as a "fresh outsider" like they did in 2008.

Sorry your gal lost last time.

She's kinda acting like she is going to run.

No chance, she is too old.

Seems just as silly as some of the crap Progressives say about Trump.

I have promised that from here on out, any story that starts with (or ends with)

    "Former adviser says...."

Reagan was the oldest at 69 (first term)

She will be 73 years old by the time she would actually be enacted President.

With the health problems she has now, it is simply not going to happen. Democrats would never do it and Republicans would laugh at it, it makes zero political sense in any means at all.

These things seem to be brought out more and more and just SCREAM fake news to me.

Not sure if Republicans want it in the news to rile up the base out of anger/laughing. Or Democrats would want it out to rile them up for the anger of her losing.

Since you posted it and I definitely see it being more helpful to Republicans, I lean more towards the former.

Again, anything that starts or ends with "an advisor said" are now immediately gauged to be likely around 95% a complete lie.

The only way it would work is if she basically ran in the primaries to take all the shots from the RW and then bow out right before the vote.

    Otherwise, all the heck no!

She'll be 73 years old, and will surely be in even worse health than she was in 2016. Maybe if they lash her to her walker, she won't fall over on the 'campaign trail'....

I hope she does run. I'd love to see a bunch of posters on the left starting threads betting their PF membership that she'll win.

Maybe she can have a replica of FDR's wheel chair made, ride around in it wearing a fedora and smoking a pipe.

If she want to run again she could money and influence is the only thing those people in Washington speak. Would she win, I don’t think so. Does she have enough awareness to know that, based on her reasons for losing I don’t think so.

Of course. And Trump going for a second term will be a gift to the Democrats. The quality of our " leaders" is just downright pathetic. And that is true of both parties. What the F. Is wrong with this country!

Mark Penn is a Dem. He's the one dreaming; we're just mocking them.

Hey, maybe Gorn Captain - the REAL account and not the sock puppet he's been posting as - will come back and start five threads a day again about Hilla.
