I don't believe I distinguished between the two. Apple, Google, etc., are obviously left leaning corporations. In any event, the topic was referring to the hypocrisy of Trump.
So the issue you have with this is that one visa is being allowed to continue to use by businesses that express need for them? The two different visas are for two very different types of employment, skills, and industry. Hotels and resorts, especially those that only need temporary seasonal help can often be located in more remote areas where the population is low. Think of Jackson Hole WY and other resorts around National parks for example. I know where I live, which has lots of tourism and very low population, has businesses that are only open for 7 or 8 months of the year. With the low population and seasonal work, it's very hard for them to find people to work the jobs. These visas are two different situations and should be treated like such.
We can't force welfare recipients to do anything, the democrats have made sure that we would be severely hand slapped for even attempting such thing. I'd be all for it, but it's cruel and unusual punishment to make them work.
