When I was in Berlin in 1963, I completely missed seeing the olympic stadium. I will study the Berlin Map to learn why I missed it. Bear in mind when i was in Berlin, so were the Soviets.

I located the olympic stadium. I did take photos of two sites. I took photos of the Funkturm. This is a restaurant built up on a tower. Think of the Eiffel Tower only smaller. I also spent some hours inside the Charlottenburg Schloss that is the site of the former palace when they had kings. I was perhaps well over a mile from the Funkturm and the Stadium is west of that. The stadium is 1.71 miles west of the restaurant. The buildings all over block any view of the Stadium from downtown Berlin.

See the stadium; the restaurant and the palace.

If you go to Berlin, put this on your bucket list.

Charlottenburg Palace Also close to this is the victory Tower that Obama gave a speech at the base of.

Unless and until you are told to report to Government and to collect your paycheck, you are not the Government. Want proof? Enter any government building and start bossing the workers around.

Then you fail to take into account human nature.
Why not just appoint a king to rule over us then, so long as we make sure it's a good king?

    1. This pretty girl doesn't speak of Hitler and the past. She speaks of today which makes it tricky. Strictly speaking Hitler might have been a nice artist or good soldier, but he was an awful politician from the very beginning and till the very end. His main mistake was not the globalism (whatever it means), but active hatred to other people.
    2. Nationalism, nation-socialism etc is not contaminated. As well as monarchy, republic or democracy is not blessed. It's up to people and historical conditions whether they make a good or bad inside any of these shapes.
    3. Nation as it is appeared around the 18th century. Before the nations there were families, lieges and vassals, tribes, ethnical and religious entities etc. However the problem of Hitler was that his ideology was about supremacy of one of german tribes (Germany consists of dozens different groups and Hitler knew that, so even in case of his total victory over the world h would perform genocide of Germans as well. This is why I am often bewildered to see a follower of Hitler who is not blonde and blue-eyed... In case that nationalism unites the nation for becoming better - it is OK. But if the nation is united to kill all those who are told to be bad - it's a mistake from the very beginning.
    4. Globalization is a soft genocide. It doesn't kill openely and quickly as Hitler did, but it kills culturally and idelogically. The likeness of both models is an assumption that only one certain gtoup of people has the monopoly for the truth and there is only one good solution for all the problems possible.

what is scary is his supporters would support him no matter what and no matter what his supporters did he supported them - probably a bit of a feedback loop going there
