http://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...emergency-meeting-after-reports-of-u-s-spying Would You be surprised if the Big Brother watches all of its 'allies' as long as it is a national security purpose far more than any Ukraine or Syria? Me not.
Viva La France Charles de Gaulle objected to American / NATO spy plane missions over French security zones. I think that is when he kicked NATO out of France. (working on memory here) Meanwhile, I expect Germany and Britain to be shocked & and move on. What of the "little countries". Spain, Portugal, Italy, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Greece etc. I would sure like to see a few of those stand up on their hind legs like Nation States and not colonies! Moi Sometimes, even the French are correct before most. r > g No Global
No. The French are going to hold an emergency meeting and warn Americans in the strongest possible terms not to mess with them any longer. And Americans will duly oblige. Obama has already made a phone call and promised to Hollande that U.S will not spy on them any longer. François Hollande holds emergency meeting after WikiLeaks claims US spied on three French presidents http://www.theguardian.com/world/20...ng-wikileaks-us-spied-three-presidents-france On a more serious note, Europeans should finally realize that the USA is not our ally. They view Europe as an economic competitor and will do anything to bring European economy down. U.S spying on everyone in EU will continue uninterrupted.
Why has Obama been spying on the French and Germans? He spies on Americans too. I wonder who Obama will spy on next? Obama is a really bad guy.
+1 If only half of what the mainstream media report on a regular basis is true, Europe should think about who the bigger evil is, Moscow or Washington. The latter will never stop spying on basically every "ally" while trying to use whatever information available against them. Btw, it didn't start with Obama, the US spied on German chancellors Schröder and Merkel, as well as Hollande's predecessors Sarkozy and Chirac.
I dont think this has anything to do with a particular administration. Presidents have been slowly building the NSA program for a while now. Clinton, Bush, Obama, theyre all different sides of the same coin.
