MCKINNEY -- A former Plano high school student was sentenced Monday to 20 years in state prison after pleading guilty to an ISIS-inspired plot to commit mass murder at a Collin County mall.

Matin Azizi-Yarand, 18, discussed his plans with an undercover FBI employee to "run and gun" with firearms blazing at the Stonebriar Centre Mall in Frisco and to kill civilians and police officers during the slaughter.

It was believed to be the Collin County DA's first terrorism conviction. Federal authorities handed off their investigation to the state because Azizi-Yarand, who was 17 at the time, could not be prosecuted in federal court due to his age.

And Azizi-Yarand had written a speech that said in part: "before you call us evil people look your selves this is only revenge you have started this war with us it will never end. We target your people as revenge for ours who were slaughtered ... You can move to another country that is not fighting the muslims but of course you want your easy lives in America so we will cast terror into your hearts as Allah commanded us."

 

Why do I get the feeling this "Allah" entity isn't the same god that the Christians worship?

 

Probably not even close.

But to Muslims, their Allah is better than everyone else's Allah, and if one doesn't buy into that heads must roll.

Then in Germany a couple weeks ago they foiled a plot and arrested 10 potential jihadis.

He discussed his plan with others? It seems that he wanted to be caught and just wanted fame.

The then-high school student had been recruiting others to participate in the shooting. Azizi-Yarand believes his plea agreement is a “fair deal” and is ready to begin his prison term, his lawyer, Mitch Nolte, told The Associated Press.

This is true. Spain/North Africa is a good example. Muslims invading and killing+enslaving Spaniards, Spaniards invading and killing Muslims.

The difference in the present day is that the vast majority of Christians are reformed moderates who don't believe hardly anything in their book of worship. Not seriously anyway. This contrasts with Muslims, the majority of which are still fundamentalist, still dislike Jews, still push religious law, etc.

Our goal going forward should be to get Muslims to abandon their idiotic superstitions like most of the Christian world has. Indeed even the Jewish world mostly has. It's ironic that the most modern of the Abrahamic religions is today the least evolved. We should change this, with force if necessary.

 

Well I am not toally anti religion, and definitely "pro spirittuality", but yeah agreed, fundamentalism is the problem. There was still too much of that in America when this was made (and though less,now, still is).
