Well if it's by the idea that they are sins i can just invent my own religion where they are virtue.

You believe they are not objectively wrong because you are saying that they belong to a subjective belief system

    We are born with morals.

Are we? Take a child born into an abusive household and the odds are good that the child will grow up into an abuser. Even if the abuse isn't directed at the child (spousal abuse), the child has a good chance of growing up into a spousal abuser themselves because the behavior they witness from their father is the normal day-to-day life of that child and it becomes a learned behavior.

And let's look at children who's parents let them do whatever they want. Look at how they often grow up.

No, morality isn't something we are born with. It's a learned trait with the children learning what is right and wrong by watching and observing the morals of the parents.

Or the morals of any country for that matter. You will find that the average child will follow the morals of their culture since they're exposed to it through their parents and from what they observe as they grow up. Whatever the morals of their culture are...end up being the morals they develop.

But people can learn to also make their own judgements as they get older and see more of the world, and listen to other people's views. Many people brought up in a religious environment manage to free themselves of it (often not easily). People change their political viewpoints too. We have the benefit of our great minds, if we choose to use them: we don't have to be Pavlov's dogs, salivating at the bell.

All of that is true too. But here's the flip side of the coin...people raised in good and loving and moral families can also grow up into a person who ignores said morals.

This is why I said "...the odds are good..." and not "...they will..." There are always variances.

The good and loving part is fine, but what of the morals? Suppose they include hating gay people and trying to take away their rights? Or for gay people substitute Jews, Muslims or any other minority. Then they would be entitled to ignore at least that part of the moral straightjacket they were given.

People should be taught respect for the rule of law, consideration for others, critical thinking, the scientific method and a healthy dose of scepticisim.

No, people aren't born with knowledge. Knowledge is acquired.

If you want to make the argument that morality is evolutionary I'd agree. But i completely disagree that anybody is ever born with knowledge.

The comment where you replied, "that isn't the definition of homosexuality".
you are arguing about technicalities-common sense shows the behavior is wrong.

No common sense says the behavior is correct for homosexuals.

It may be wrong for you.

So because people say they are in a relationship and are close, that exempts them morally proper physical boundaries?

I don't know what "morally proper physical boundaries" you are speaking of.

No one has ANY knowledge when born. There may be instinctual reaction but human brain activity has yet to form neural connections or create the memories we refer to as knowledge. Perhaps by age three or so a knowledge base can be defined somewhat.
