This is something that occurs to me recently. Are there any female Sith Lords? and how could Lucas overlook this?. I mean, yes, we all realize Lucas is really 12 years old but you think somebody would tell him
There have been plenty, some of the strongest people in the Star Wars Universe were female Sith. You have to get into the canon to read about them though since they never made the movies of Lucas. Luke Skywalker, who actually becomes almost Godlike in the canon due to his power with the force, has quite a few run-ins with female Sith.
Actually, if you think Gender is a factor in any of the Star Wars stories, you are hopelessly lost. It is about the Force, Good v Evil, not physical bodies per say, when Luke met Yoda that first time he did not see a Jedi Master, he misjudged Yoda as we all do, Women or anybody if we fail to take into account more salient aspects of life. Remember the commentary about Lord Vader who at that point was more machine than man, his genitalia long gone along with his arms and legs and other parts of his former anatomy. ******************* Obi-Wan Kenobi: Your father was seduced by the Dark Side of the Force. You were our only hope." *************** He did have formidable Mental command over the Force, hence why he and the Sith Lords commanded so much raw power and energy. Gender and mere physical bodies, had nothing to do with anything, once the Force was involved, it would not matter if they were male or female, only if they were Good or Evil as conduits for the tremendous power of the Force turning it to Good, or to the Dark side.
You do know the OP asked a question don't you? That is what I was responding to. And if you know your canon at all you will notice there is a major difference between the force and what type of force they use. The yellow lightsabers, I am sure you know what they represent, is dominated by women while the Blue lightsabers are dominated by men. Its representative of gender roles in society.
. Pffttt at Gender roles in society something I always rebelled against since I was old enough to talk and pee unaided. I think Women are unlimited in any role they wish to fulfill. And on a forum, I follow my own heart in all matters. As in the song by Cass Elliot..... Different... And as Yoda explained The Force to Luke, it had zilch to do with Light Sabers or any other Rubbish weapons. Master Yoda with a Green light saber

I dont care, I have my own modern beliefs just as you are free to have your beliefs on gender and equality etc.
