    I feel trouble is brewing.

Sure, it gets arrested and ejected when Independent Hong Kong supporters defy Beijing, but that doesn't stop the will of the people.
A people who knew only freedom until 1997 when the lease was up.

Hong Kong I guess is a little like Manhattan.
An island that exploitation from the British enabled to see its full potential.
Manhattan was bought for a bag of groceries from a people who had no concept of ownership and Hong Kong was used to push opium on to China getting products in and out easier.

But for it, Manhattan is a powerhouse and Hong Kong was free and thrived.

    It's happened.

People Republic of China are being tested by Hong Kong.

The Police in Hong Kong have said they're in control but People's Republic of China is losing patience with the protesters.

There are many reasons to keep China at bay from crashing Hong Kong, many of them are economic.
