Hours Before Trump's Press Conference CNN And BuzzFeed Hit 'Fake News' Bottom

Nothing the dishonest liberal media does anymore surprises me. The very fact they went with an unverified story they've had for over a year the day before Trump's first press conference says it all. This is so bad the far left bigots at Mother Jones can't even endorse it. Buzzfeed is a joke but CNN should lose their seat at the White House press pool. Its time to send a message that fake news will not be tolerated.

just as we saw last Friday, with the completely fact and evidence-free dog and pony show put on by the Intelligence Community and their media allies, late Tuesday afternoon, the Establishment Empire struck again, this time with an unprecedented double down. No doubt working in tandem (and with Donald Trump's many establishment enemies on both the left and right), CNN and BuzzFeed did something so sleazy and dishonest that, just a few years ago, even to a media cynic like me, it would have seemed impossible.

With a breathless breaking news report, left-wing CNN went first. To no one's surprise, the once-respected Jake Tapper took the lead. Undoubtedly CNN's overall goal was to offer up the imprimatur of "journalism" so that a batch of leaked and completely unsubstantiated anti-Trump documents could be dumped on the American public the night before the President-elect's very first press conference.

Despite the fact that these documents are unsubstantiated, despite the fact that -- and this is important -- the rabidly anti-Trump media has had almost a year to substantiate them and could not, by pretending it had a legitimate news story about the documents, CNN laid the groundwork for BuzzFeed's Ben Smith to violate every code of ethics in the world of journalism.

A Trump council Michael Cohen has never even been to Russia, yet liberal loons like this make these unverifiable stories up, and liberals regurgitate. The allegations in the Buzzfeed document dump are that Trump had secret financial dealings with Russia, and that Trump’s special counsel Michael Cohen was a main point of contact between these mysterious Russian forces and Team Trump.

The documents allege that Cohen traveled to Russia and Prague to arrange these deals. But Cohen says he has never even been to Prague or Russia.

“I’m telling you emphatically that I’ve not been to Prague, I’ve never been to Czech [Republic], I’ve not been to Russia,” Cohen said. “The story is completely inaccurate, it is fake news meant to malign Mr. Trump.”

Even the NYT refused to publish it because it was NOT verifiable. What does that say? Do we live in a Third World banana republic dictatorship with these nasty Libs? Obama and his minions are the WORST dregs of society. They lie, cheat, steal to get their way, all the while saying that they "care." I have no idea wheather Cohen travelled to Russia or Prague or not (other than his denial, but denials from Trumpworld are largely worthless given the head man's penchant for serial lying).

Actually, if you read through the documents in question, you'll find that there is little that has not been known for months. Trump's dealings with Russian oligarchs is well known. Just as reports revealing that that the Russians were behind the data dumps that were clearly intended to aid the Trump campaign have been known for months.

There is actually very little real new news here.

There is no shortage of evidence that Trump world has dealings with Russian banks.

Wall Street wouldn't lend to him, because of his long track record of deals that fall apart and unpaid bills.

So, he has been dealing with Russian oligarchs for some time now. It's widely documented. Even if it isn't on your fake news site.

The Atlantic reports today that Cohen was at his son's school for a sporting event on the day in question, confirmed by the coach and school administration.

It isn't fake news. Trump's ties to Russian banks go back years, and have been reported on regularly over much of that period.

As with the Russian hacks, you try and pretend that this is something new, while claiming that it is false (without any evidence).

Sorry, but I don't watch CNN, so I wasn't even aware of this particular story at all until late yesterday afternoon. I didn't think it remarkable then, because I had know about Trump's connection to Russian bankers for quite a long time. It isn't new news to anyone who is actually paying attention.
