Tax returns and visitors logs have no influence on regulations that effect everyone like the EPA can do so far far down the list. BTW, still waiting for Obama's transcripts.

LOL! RIght. The president's personal financial interests, and the people visiting him, have no influence on the policies and regulations he supports. Pull the other one!

And what a weak attempt at deflection. As if a president's college transcripts -- records from a period THREE DECADES before he became president -- are more relevant than CURRENT tax returns and visitor logs.

Are people still arguing over Trump's tax returns. Who cares. Nobody in Washington does their taxes legally. All the sudden people care about a public servant's taxes, who had no prior part of Washington? Yet they said nothing about previous public servant's. The far left media came out screaming about it, and like the lost sheep liberals are, they come running and screaming right along with them. If national news media said nothing on the matter, nobody would even be talking about it. Just goes to show they are indeed lost sheep in search of their shepherd. They are all liars and criminals. Yet people think they are saints, and place them on a pedestal.

Anybody that has never been in, around, or part of my life, is damn sure not going to tell me what I need.

It's crazy right? The hand wringers and chicken littles of the world just keep on bleating like sheep. Like we can do a damn thing about the planet's atmosphere? It's insanity.

I don't think it's insanity. We know the effects of certain gases, and we know that we produce those gases. What they can't seem to get across are the implications of climate change. It was supposed to wreck the world years ago, and the year things finally get bad keeps getting pushed back. Nobody is drowning, crops aren't dying, hurricanes aren't destroying coastlines, and we're not cooking to death. Until they can show it's actually a problem their cries will be ignored.

Who defines ignorance? We have seen in the climate debate that what you are spewing is poison. Take Dr. Mann. What qualified hin to be a lead author of a critical chapter of the IPCC AR3. He was freshly minted PhD of no noteworthy accomplishment. We know why now. He had been invited into the clique' he was added into that little e-mail group that all the power brokers was in. His main accomplishment was networking not science.

And that is the problem with your entire approach.

We arent excluding outsiders the unqualified.

    Who decides who is qualified?

    Well the insiders of course.

It really is a ****ing joke.

Well the hand wringers thought during the 70's we were headed for a new Ice Age. I remember those years, it was butt azzed cold for a decade in winter. I just don't put any stock in junk science that has flipped in such a short time, now telling us we will be underwater in 50 years.:roflol: AGW is the religion of the new rabid progressive idiots. There's a sucker born every day, so not shocked.

Thank you for confirming your ignorance of, and disdain for, how science works.

10-4. Science and politics are NOT compatible. Beware of shiny objects that I would consider iron pyrite, BS personified, absolute hysteria politically/financially motivated. Who the EFF do they think they are kidding? :roflol:

Remeber its all in how you phrase it. He isnt arguing for gatekeeping just that opponents to his religion are qualified. But to these religious whackos Freeman ****ing Dyson isnt qualified. Of course if he agreed with them you know he would be.

I figured that was the (mis) direction you were headed, but the topic of the thread is the EPA, not Trump. So......

*Shrug*. I'm fine with loud and public debate over what "qualified" means.Scientists are human: they may wish to withhold data from people they personally dislike, regardless of qualifications. Such an effort, however, will not work when subjected to public scrutiny. They will be forced to release the data to any qualified researcher.

Your claims, though, don't actually hold up. I'm not aware of Dyson being denied access to data, for example. You have invented a strawman.

If they are right then there is nothing to hide. Why has this study with its negative and regressive economic consequences never been repeated ?? Why do people in Bejing who breath air with levels of PM 2.5 many times greater than the EPA standard have longer life expectancies ?? Why can no victims of PM 2.5 be identified - then Sec Lisa Jackson characterized that meeting the PM 2.5 regulations would be the same a finding a cure for cancer ??
