House Republicans offer $10,000 per individual and $20,000 per couple with no additional spending, by just cutting some of the 91% of the Covid-19 Relief Bill that has nothing to do with Covid-19 Relief.

    https://twitter.com/RepGosar/status/1365791325761773570

"I offered an amendment to prioritize $10,000 stimulus checks to Americans most affected by COVID-19 and lockdowns," the Arizona Republican said.

"Instead, Democrats chose foreign aid, Big Tech transit, and Pelosi's political priorities over direct relief to American citizens," he added.

"Governement (sic) ordered the shutdown and broke the back of the economy. Break it, buy it," Gosar said. "Americans need help with car payments, mortgage, rent, and everyday necessities. The people, not government, corporations, or billionaires, need this help."

This bill is a tax payer rip off to reward Democratic Party cronies. Less than 9% is actually going to Covid-19 Relief.

Your post says house Republicans [plural] but I see only one sponsor. Did you mistake the level of support for this amendment or are there others in support of it?

Republican voters don't vote in the House or the Senate, and this being an example of why were are NOT a democracy. And 66% of Republican voters either don't support the bill or only somewhat support the bill only 34% fully support the bill. And this is one of the most partisan bills ever passed.

This is the Democrats way of continuing their "Elite Class" and the sycophants that support it.

"THEY GOT YOUR VOTE, SUCKERS: Georgia Dems Backtrack on Promise to Deliver $2000 Stimulus Checks: Democrats promised Georgia wins would put $2,000 checks in the mail."
"Warnock’s campaign ran ads asking voters, "Want a $2,000 check?" along with a picture of a U.S. Treasury check going out to an individual in "Anytown, USA." And Ossoff regularly called for "$2,000 checks now" and pledged to support the full $2,000 checks if elected."

"Neither Sens. Ossoff nor Warnock’s offices responded to requests for comment about the shift to $1,400 checks."
