I moved here in 1965. Actually what caused me to buy my first home here was that I wanted my first home to be a rental home. The city I then lived in was too high priced for my needs. I bought into Fremont and with a terrible renter problem, I moved the family into the first home. We had to fix it up two times in maybe 2 months. I darned near quit owning rentals. This gives some ideas of how it is here.
