the safest semi auto to carry is the Beretta 84. Its a DA / SA and you can carry it with the hammer down and the safety ON. I know there are a few other autos like that, but I own three of them so I can state with accuracy how they work

 

I sometimes carry a Shield in .45 ACP. I made sure when I ordered it I got the model with a thumb safety!

Have you upgraded the trigger in the shield? My other carry is a Wilson 1911, so the trigger in the Shield annoys me. I’ve heard Apex makes a good replacement for the shield but I don’t know anyone with the upgrade.

 

nah, I tend to leave carry piece triggers alone. Now my competition GLOCK 34 used in GSSF unlimited division has a Apex trigger, a FAXON barrel and a comp.

Firearms are a necessary tool I use almost daily in pursuit of supplying you with affordable food. If you can’t appreciate the practical use of firearms I suggest you go on a hunger strike in protest.

Firearms are not about slaughter. I actually used a firearm today to end the extreme suffering of an animal in my care. You have no idea what you are talking about. It’s heart wrenching. The only thing worse is allowing the animal to continue to suffer.
