    Half blue healer and chiwawa.

His legs and paws are bigger by the day, look at those wideset eyes and snout, I'm thinking he might be knee high and 30 pounds. He is a terror.

CUTE!! He's going to be a handful with that mix!! Just be damned sure he gets exposed to lots and lots of different people and different dogs every day you can manage it, and he will be well socialized. Otherwise you will have a fearful and some degree of aggressive adult dog on your hands one day.

In reply to the OP, this isolation and such restriction is just normal to me. I see no difference. But that is because my wife and I have no kids and no family left. It's just us in the country on our two acres. And we're both kinda loners, so we don't miss visiting with friends much either.

I could do this for a few years. Actually, I have.

Been doing that, problem is the idiot wants to eat everything from plastic to bones. He is starting to teeth, hope he grows out of it. He loves kids and other dogs. Wormed him, gave him 5 in 1 injected vaccines, first vet trip tomorrow to get the flea, tick and heartworm preventative.

Working too much, no time to enjoy the fruits of my labor. Hoping I get laid off or demoted or something.

    Other than that, doing great!

Well, I passed the driving exam, got my license tag and insurance. 40 years old, finally got my license. Actually found (bare minimum) insurance for 97$ a month.

300$ for a tag and registration. Piece of aluminum and paper. Yes, driving is nice but damn expensive. I've made do with a bicycle, my entire life. Even rode 100 miles within 12 hours, 6 times in my life. I aint getting any younger.

Back of the van, this is a very expensive and custom mod. Exhaust is rerouted, custom fuel cell/tank. Frame is cut, new deck was fabricated. DSCN0360.JPG

    Awful.

Don't want to whine or make excuses but I am an essential worker. Most of my staff have had covid or have had to quarantine.

Also my wife is disabled, not complaining about that, but it's hard enough to leave her alone for my work without this virus... I really can't bring this home to her...

Just have to keep my head down and power through I guess.

I'm doing okay. Christmas Break just started and I get to rest for a bit. I did put down Jury Duty for next week because for teachers, doing jury duty WHILE teaching ends up as doing two jobs at once.

My only real problem is my son and daughter-in-law, who moved back in. Those two - well, actually just my son, they pay no rent and do no chores. My DIL at least will help out if we ask for it. It's getting to the point where I might have to get a second job because my wife is just enabling our son at this point and those two - well Mrs. Wolfe and I are paying for their food. I can't see myself being patient about this for much longer.

Stressed at times, thinking about what the future holds. But trying my best to cope up with the present situation.
