The opinion of foreigners should not influence Americans in the least.

No, human characteristic, brought about by a certain level of "civilization".

though Americans do need to concern themselves about hyper-partisanship leading to political dysfunction.

This election is shaping up to be ...shall we say... very interesting...

Is it revealed as a pack of lies? Because I'm writing: we cannot sustain this forever. Our children will be digging through garbage looking for something to eat if this keeps up.
Agreed about the perpetual population growth.
I'm not an anarchist or libertarian. I understand government has its place. But the "in place" economy you fantasize about would have told me to not bother taking risks, leaving everyone including me all the poorer.

It's not a fallacy sir. I demonstrated lower oxygen levels in my own home, my own body, my own N95 mask and my own pulse oximeter.

It is a fact that you will deny for years to come, but that's OK.

Your "quick summary" is laughable.

Yes, I am going to believe a random internet stranger with a... interesting post history vs all of the largest medical organizations in the world. If you have such severe breathing issues COVID would absolutely decimate you, you likely shouldn’t be out in groups of people to begin with...

    I'm sorry that happened.

My wife lost her father 6 weeks into this. And then an Aunt a few weeks later.

You keep repeating "death per centages" as if everyone has already gotten the virus..

That would of course be false.

The per cent of death from this is far higher than for instance the flu and if we follow your lead and LET everyone get it...millions will die and nursing homes and assisted living facilities will be MORGUES

Life can be beautiful, and life can be cruel.

Death is the natural consequence of life. I suspect that what comes after life is more glorious than life itself.

That isn't the end of the world. My aunt was in a nursing home when she died of Covid-19. Bummer. But she was already 85 anyway.

So proper use is rare; probably that's a fact and one we cannot change. So, given that, my best guess is you are saying masks don't work, in a roundabout way.

I think the reason so many have a problem addressing the fact that nothing we have done has really made a difference is that when some people are so scared, it is really horrifying to admit that the one thing they have staked their life on is masks, so if they don't really work, maybe there is no hope. Regardless, I think corona deaths have gone down, although cases haven't, right? And of course the deaths is the real worry, not the number of cases. So, it's ok to say masks don't work, nor do lockdowns, since things are improving anyway.

Improving is a hopeful word, seeing that new cases are on the upswing (and historically deaths have trended a few weeks) I hope your metric remains.

Personally, I am more concerned about the long term health impacts from this virus with my family, we are all mostly healthy but even healthy (and asymptomatic) individuals that catch this are coming out of it with some fairly serious long term health implications.

If a mask can prevent by even a small percentage that then I will support their use.
I would rather not have a 4 year old with permanent lung damage or a 7 year old with heart damage.

I don’t think it is fair to judge whether or not something works because of people failing to use it correctly.
That isn’t how products are typically judged

I thought I told you what I do. I do it the same way the officials do it for things like Heart Attacks, Auto accidents. Flu deaths, Ebola Deaths, Cancer. There is nothing unique about my posts.

The way you express it is true as to your own claims as to what you believe. But I am not calling you incorrect though you appear not to understand how this nation addresses this topic.

Take drowning. We know that not all Americans are in the water all the time. So they still express a percentage figure we use.

So i do not believe all Americans have the virus nor had the Virus. Clear now?

My lead is not what you allege my lead is. Cuomo for example escapes criticism from Judy Woodruff of PBS because his huge number of deaths do not matter to her, only those of one person, who is innocent, Trump.

When you are in the Nursing home, the word Nurse explains why. You are not up and at em well. You are sick when you go there.

If someone uses a seatbelt incorrectly ...that doesn't mean seatbelts are innefective...it means that the person that can't or won't figure out how to do it correctly is stupid

Oh and 500-1000 people die from this thing every day
