:oldman:It's evident that this thread is the fruit of a malicious conspiracy!

Jokes apart, I substantially share your perspective about conspiracy theorists. I would add a general social consideration.

We live in a "pseudo modern" era, not modern ... the difference is pivotal to understand the social background of conspiracy lovers. That "pseudo" indicates that, after the proper modern era, we [as societies] have recovered a good luggage of irrationality and abstraction interpretation of reality. Take a look at the pay-per-view TVs and you will realize that many persons pay "to discover", "to understand" ... actually they do that "to believe", to feel supported [and comforted] about their belief in UFO, Templars, Sion Order, Men in Black, CIA doing this and that, NSA doing something else, FBI copying CIA and NSA together ....

This is the background, made by fantasy, video games, internet hyper-use, sociopath behaviors ... BTW, there is a certain connection between the environment of the so called "borderline subjects" and the environment of the conspiracy theorists.

That is because your post is mostly spin and opinion which by definition cannot be disproven.

It is not truth it is belief

If it is spin, why did the Downing Street Memo bring down Tony Blair's regime in the UK?

When one chooses to defend an impossible story, 14 years after the fact, the ad hominem is all one has to use. :eyepopping:
