Yes, indeed! There are many Californians who seek to secede from the Union. Not that this is what I prefer - just so long as states can determine for themselves how much freedom they want from Washington DC's dictates such as freedom from fighting in foreign wars and the like. As for withdrawing federal aid, bear in mind that Democrat states pay MORE into the system and get back LESS, unlike the Republican states. That is why Texass decided not to secede under Gov Rick Perry.

But at least it's good of you to recognize that, indeed, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and surrounding areas all belonged to Mexico. In fact they retain the names given to them by Hispanics. How interesting that some claim they are American, not Mexican, but they have Mexican names!

Well, at least, within a few decades the majority of the people there will again be Hispanic. Then they will impose their politics on all who live there. Then there will be true democracy on that region. I'm sure everyone will agree that this is the way it should be.

 

I 100% support California's right to secede and the Union's right to withdraw all aid, all funding, military installations, and to secure a border around it as it is not a member of the United States. California should and always has belonged to Mexico.

Transgender athletes certainly prove that they could potentially make good soldiers as well........ .but ....... if they only join to get free operations...... that is not a good reason to join the military.

I have a lot to say about this but I won't. I'll just say I wouldn't want a tranny in the trench with me. I do think that since the US in only 50% white these days, that at least half of those drafted need to be 'minorities'. I don't mean drafted to stand by the mess tent like so many of them did in WWll. Mexicans definitely need to be drafted if there is a draft. They didn't have to go in WWll. That was a little bit contentious for the white boys getting their asses blown off. There was a huge brawl in LA over that.

 

This was not the case for Vietnam. No such survival was at stake in that conflict.
