Comes as no surprise that everything Trump said he would do to divest and distance himself from his personal businesses were as usual, big fat lies and spit in the eye to the American people and his oath of office and a wiping of his equally big fat a$$ with The Constitution.

Has any other who has held the office of the presidency ever done this and why would any future person to hold the office not do the same now that a precedent has been set? The USA is a fraud as it is not a nation of laws and Trump's getting away with his contempt for the office proves it.

I want you to look at the net worth of Obama before becoming president. Then add 8 years of presidential salary. Is that what he is worth now?

Obama divested his holdings into treasury bonds and do you not comprehend the words prior, during and after? :wall:

    There is no similarity whatsoever!

Donald was a relatively successful businessman, but as president, he failed really miserably.

Trump is worth a lot less than he was when he announced running in 2015, as has been regurgitated ad nauseum as 'proof' that he's a 'failure'. But somehow he's simultaneously using the office of President to 'enrich himself'...

AFTER he left office as in NOT DURING. No contempt of the oath of office. No breach of the emoluments clause.

Get it now? My 4 year old nephew understands what "AFTER" means when I tell him he can have ice cream "AFTER" dinner.

    You cant' be serious.

How Donald Trump Turned The Presidency Into A Business
Trump walked away from his business and gave up his government salary to become president. You are crying elephant tears because he still benefits indirectly from the success he built himself -- separating him greatly from the likes of Obama and Clinton, who made their profits from their government service (including gloming the white house silverware and china in Clintons' case.).

Look what happened to the USA because of Donald.
An extremely divided society, social unrest, a pandemic that killed over 200,000 people because the Donald played Coronavirus down.

This is Donald's legacy. The next president will have a lot of work to fix this. Nevertheless, he won't be able to bring back the dead who died because of Donald's stupidity. :(

Yeah, that's not how I see it.

The only people participating in civil unrest are the ones still upset Trump won. These are the anti Trump people.

The left doesn't get to throw a temper tantrum, protest, burn and loot, and divide the country and then blame the president for their actions.

Of course, this was the goal. Create a big **** sandwich, then claim its Trump's fault. All for partisan gains.

Unfortunately for them, nobody is buying it but them.

This is the legacy of the ultra liberal left.

Nonsense. If the left gets their way and Biden wins, immediately the temper tantrum will end, social justice protests will cease, and the left will start to act like Biden solved all the problems.

If Trump wins, they will throw an even bigger temper tantrum. This is all 100% on the partisan left.

I wonder if the President's, Prime Minister, and leaders of other countries are getting the blame for the deaths caused by a virus. Probably not if it isn't an election year.

    Right?

.... Didn't I just hear he bought a $12M house? That would take 48 years of his total before-tax income as president.

    And here is the dismissal

No one can have a legitimate concern, raise a question, challenge ethics because they are just “doing it because they hate Trump”

Never ever is consideration given to the point that Trump is openly running the most corrupt government in the western world

Gee seems a black man cannot make money

Reminds me of the old racist joke - “What do you call a black man sitting in a Mercedes”? “A thief”

and yes these “jokes” existed before that thing that upsets so many far right people - the thing called political correctness

He wrote several books and Michelle, well did you forget that her book became a best seller?

Amazing how anyone could think Trump has all those conflicts and fail to see the left running multiple 24/7 conspiracies for the last 5 years in the attempt to destroy him, along with the nation itself. Hate is a truly ugly and blinding thing when it gets to the point it controls people.

Bower, the credibility of people's charges depends greatly on their character- easily measured by what they do, rather than say.
The fact they rationalize their bad actions and tell themselves it justified changes nothing. Rational people can look at today's left and quickly conclude their moral values are not only off the tracks, but are lost in outer space- because they damned sure aren't on this planet anymore. Trump didn't do that to them, they chose it by themselves. The cred went with the values- no longer in existence here. I'm not applauding that, it's a disaster for both the dem party and the nation, but until the dems can get control of themselves, it won't change. Deadly spiral that will destroy them- and maybe all of us.

    Hold up a mirror

it is not “the left” who is supporting someone who blatantly and openly breaks the law

    upload_2020-9-27_23-29-15.jpeg

    This is just ONE example

I mean we are talking about someone so corrupt he can no longer run a charity

    ever

"Walking away from his business means he gave up control. It does not mean he pays it no attention. There is nothing wrong with catching up on what he still owns, and there is nothing unusual or untoward in any of the criticism you presented.
