How extensive is your ignore list?

    My ignore list grows almost weekly. I wish that the balance of life had such a feature.
    Do you employ the ignore feature? How extensive is your ignore list? What triggers an ignore from you?

    I ignore people who consistently make ad hominin attacks. I ignore people who parade their disassociations. I will ignore the aggrieved if they are not entertaining. I ignore trolls and those who log in just to be rude because being rude is, to them, better than being invisible.

    I do not ignore people who are sincerely wrong or ignorant. I do not ignore people just because they disagree with my ideas; however, I will ignore someone for disagreeing with me personally. In other words, I will ignore disagreeable people. Nothing good comes from disagreeing with people rather than ideas, but the very worst things come from agreeing with people rather than ideas.

    I used to have an ignore list of three people who infuriated me with their arrogance and stupidity. I have since mellowed and don't have an ignore list any more.

    I have a fairly long list. I basically only ignore the racists and or those that actually insult me personally.

    I agree with those who express the sentiment that one misses out on way too much Comedy/Entertainment Value by putting people on ignore.

    It seems a person with a long list, has his own problems to work out.

    just thinking....why would you care....I mean this is the internet...they don't know you and you don't know them....so what if you don't like what people say about you do you really give a toss? I mean just shrug and move on its not the end of the world surely, I mean you chose who you engage with? Anyway have a nice one..:)

    It clutters the feeds since some of them like posting on the same topics. This makes it so I just bypass them and get to the good conversations. The racists are WAY more prevalent, most people dont personally insult me since I try to be polite to other posters as much as I can.

    President Franklin Roosevelt was viciously attacked by anti-USA right wingers. But he never backed down from any of them. Like patriotic FDR, I also am attacked by the right wingers on a daily basis. Being the truthful patriot that I am, I also welcome their hatred and refuse to have an ignore list.
