    If you truly are a Texan, you should know by witnessing firsthand how illegals are gaming the system. Americans are at least legal and so if they commit a crime, they can answer to the IRS. Can't do squat with illegals if not vetted and not in the system. There is not one thing illegals bring to the table that's good for America. Come here legally, work, and pay taxes....it's all good.

    At any rate we're done here. Just have to agree to disagree.

    A native Texan who spent a decade working for TDHS in benefit eligibility. I know exactly who games the system the most - and they're on the melanin deficient side. OAG and Regional Recovery Unit (they collect on benefit overpayments) investigation, prosecution and recovery stats bear this out. And according to the law of the land, anyone who comes here as a refugee is, by definition, NOT illegal. Deal with it.

    If the word had been put out by the US administration that the border is closed to illegals a year ago, there wouldn't be any caravans now? [​IMG] Quite often the simple solutions are the right ones.

    Which past experience tells us about 10%. No we don't have to do that, they can apply for asylum and wait their turns like everyone else. We can then change the law so you don't get stay if we catch you here illegally, you can fill out your form as we deport you back to your home country.

    No one has dehumanized them and we cannot take in every person in the world who faces some hardship and we no obligation to turn our border states into Central and South America.

    Not a military invasion but an invasion nonetheless.

    Not stopping the caravans is proving highly profitable for our FOR PROFIT PRISONS whose largest customer is ICE.Thanks to ICE they are kept at or near full capacity as they exploit their illegal immigrant inmates charging them over $11.00 for a 4oz. tube of toothpaste and telling them to use their fingers when the bathrooms have no toilet paper.And guess who they put their money behind in the 2016 presidential election, backing Dirty Donald to the hilt.

    You don't think caravan after caravan invading is a problem knowing all who make it through will be allowed to stay in sanc cities due to catch and release? You don't think the democrats are luring them here and rewarding them for their votes to fraudulently steal all future elections?
