I own 5 pairs of shoes. Canvas shoes Boat shoes Suit shoes (like... business shoes) Joggers Flip-flops/thongs
You know what shoes I hate? Crocs, Uggs and those neon colored sneakers. I wouldn't be caught dead in any of those shoes! I guess crocs have their place, but some people wear them out in public. They are plastic shoes!
1 pr. black dress Wing Tips 1 pr. brown dress Wing Tips. 2 pr. leather rough side out chukas for casual wear. 2 pr. of boondockers ( 1 pr. being Chi-Com knock off boondockers and the other pair being made in the USA real USMC boondockers) 3 pr. Red Wing boots for work, in the field, hunting, hiking etc. 2 pr. of deck shoes if I go sailing or for casual wear. (canvas uppers rubber soles) 2 pr. river sandals. 1 pr. flip flops. 1 pr LaCrosse cold weather boots. Seriously thinking of investing in a pair of Chippewa snake boots. Since 1969 I have been crossing paths and dealing with cobras, bamboo pit vipers, Burmese Pythons, Western Diamondback rattlesnakes and it's cousin the Pacific rattlesnake, sidewinders, the deadliest snake in America the Mojave rattlesnake. But three weeks ago I came across a 3 foot Pacific rattler and for the first time in my life the rattler attacked me chasing me for 50 feet.
There is nothing like rubber boots + wool socks. In the right weather, of course. However, the sole must be not very thick, so you can feel all the benefits of its plasticity. It's almost like you walk bare footed in the dirt but with the luxury of staying clean.
About 6 or 7 pairs. But I tend to wear my Doc Martens boots all year round, unless I'm hiking (then I wear steel capped work boots ... oddly). I own not a single pair of heels. My 'dress' shoes are Doc Martens Mary Janes - one pair in red patent leather, the other in black. Flat chunky sole, and wide strap. I have two different pairs of sports shoes for different purposes, and some Birkenstock type leather clogs .... great for summer. I absolutely don't need more, because I have something for all situations. I can't see how I'd need more shoes than a man does.
If you buy the right shoes, they never go out of style. 8 Up Docs have been 'in' for about 40 years. No female wardrobe should be without a pair.
I long for the day you just enter a machine that measures your body and you click on a screen what colours and models you like and then some sort of 3D-printer just spits it out.
What? What's trashy about it? You are very judgmental about some silly things, and you should stop that. It would be very silly to consider women trashy because they paint their nails. If you like having plain nails, then that is fine. To each her own. K?
I notice that two men liked this post. Funny thing is, they usually do NOT like the kind of women who like to shop at hardware stores. Lol!
I mean, you can try to make yourself appealing to men by sharing in their hobbies and such things, but men are shallow creatures and they are always going to go back to that which turns them on which is "femininity." Men are attracted to feminine females (if they aren't gay that is - ) Whether they want to admit it or not.
How can anyone enjoy shopping in itself? That feeling of gratification you get after shopping something cool might be enjoyable, but that only lasts for a day or two anyways. I see you have finally come to your senses and realised there are objective criterias for attraction.
I like to shop for shoes and clothes. I like it a lot. I like looking at all the new clothes, touching them, trying them on, picking out what looks best. I will go through a whole store and take everything I like to the changing room and try everything on and then decide what I'm going to buy. I love walking into a big shoe store where there are tons and tons of shoes! Ha! What you were saying about men universally being attracted to blonde-haired, blue-eyed, light-skinned women is a bit different from men universally being attracted to "femininity." Some men are more attracted to big giant butts and big giant boobies than they are to blonde hair and blue eyes!
Boooooooooooo. You forget fast and mix-up two entirely different conversations. About a year ago, we had a looong conversation in a thread touching the topic of "Is beauty objective?" where I insisted it is and you went cray-cray when I said men prefer feminine women. Nothing beats blue eyes and blonde hair though. Anyways, this off topic as hell.
No, I was arguing with your list of "acceptable" physical characteristics and telling you that those are not the same for everyone.
