I take the best care of it that I can, of course. Had to blow the drive out with air when I got it just so it would read certain discs correctly. It also plays Blu-Rays for me, though I don't own very many of those yet.

It's given me an odd problem with a 750 GB HD lately, though, where a couple of games I've tried to install haven't finished. They will just get stuck at a certain point with the drive light on solid. I have a new 500 GB on its way to try instead. For a while, I was using a 180 GB SSD in it, and that worked pretty well. Only issue is I would sometimes get an error message about the drive when powering the system on. That was why I tried that old 750 GB drive in the first place.

Speaking of Commodore 64, I have one around that I picked up many, many years ago at a garage sale. It even came with a bunch of software tapes. I'm meaning to sell that at some point. An Atari 800, too. Might even part with a Macintosh SE, as I've ended up with two of those. Too much junk...

Just got my super slim. It recommended that I let the entire 8 Gig of Gran Turismo 5 install so I went to do the 50 min. install. At 8 min. left, it stuck :-( I'll try the game on my slim with 320 Gig HD. I'll let you know if that works.

I've got that somewhere digital. I've heard it is good.

Well, it should be easy enough to run that via emulation, such as on DOSBox. I use that ro run the very occasional DOS game, such as Daggerfall.

Now playable on another system... 320 Gig. Course, it warned me that Gran Turismo 5 is not supported online anymore :-( I don't think a 6 ever came out for PS4.

EDIT: GT5 is followed by 6 and "Sport" for the PS4 .

I played a bit of GT5 and you accelerated with the a button! I love the Xbox acceleration with the right analogue trigger. It isn't on off but how far you pull the trigger is how much you accelerate. Think I'll focus on Horizon 3. May get 4.
