Here in Maryland at least 2 of our Democratic candidates and the leading Republican for Governor are campaigning on free Community College to Associates Degree for everybody. It seems an idea whose time has come.

That is one way of getting back the less educated. Promise to educate them. People get better jobs and make more money. Industry has a workforce that can handle robots win-win for everybody

Well the best option for the Leftist Socialist Marxist Party is to stop the masquerade of being a Democratic Party, and embrace the dark side of the force, your leader, the Emperor George Soros, the Nazi Collaborator. This way, you will make it clear to all, whom is not welcome in America, whom is not welcome in a restaurant, or Portland, Ohio.

Then, after one of Antifa radicals makes contact with the Aljazeera Iranians, and gets a nuclear backpack bomb planted in some USA town somewhere that the Leftist deem is a conservative American Flag waving town, then your side will see how quickly the US Military will descend upon you like the Hammer of Thor.

Sure. Guess you didn't know the Trump farm bill are trying to cut food stamps. Guess they have to pay for the tax cuts for the rich somehow. Not to mention the Republican budget cuts for medicaid.

If you labour under the delusion that conservatism is a genetic stigma, you are mistaken.

Besides, in reaction to trumpery, not conservatism, intellectually astute folks like George Will and Max Boot are progressing nicely.

It is the less-educated, aging White males that have been hornswoggled and whose recovery demands that they again embrace traditional American values.

Some would abandon these folks as a lost cause who are "going to die anyway" but it is a moral imperative that the more diverse America, with its better-educated younger voters and more female participation, not abandon them.

We cannot ever give up on these folks:

Their messiah tells them that anthropogenic climate change is a Chinese Hoax!",
but the global scientific consensus shatters that dogma of trumpery
    that they mindlessly embrace.

Such hysterical fantasies inserted by your propaganda ministry where the moon don't shine fail to survive the light of day when you pull them out.

Your boogie man Soros has never been a political party leader, nor was he ever a nazi collaborator.

Lies do nothing to legitimize trumpery.

One of the highly-educated, female? young Antifa members that we shouldn't give up on. If this was one of mine I would write her out of my life, then I would kick my own ass for raising this beauty. .

Fixating on either the neo-nazis and other white supremacists who venerate their "Glorious Leader!" or those who demonstrate against fascism is an evasion of the more substantive reality.

A more diverse, better-educated electorate in which women will be participating at a far higher percentage, bodes well for the future of the nation.

Interestingly enough one of those women, Stacy Abrams, did the math and came to the conclusion that she could become the governor of GA WITHOUT the need to "win back" the less educated whites. Apparently there are enough disillusioned liberals of all races to outvote the less educated whites. She is setting out to prove her math in November.

Demographic inevitability portends the diminution of less-educated, older white males as a percentage of the electorate, but I still think is is ethically proper that the Democratic Party not disown their flighty faction beguiled by the reality tv entertainer.

Their Last Hurrah will, undoubtedly linger in some pockets, but progress is inevitable.

Well, I live in a Red State and we already have free two year technical training at any vocational institution run by the state. (Includes Associate Degree programs)
And yes, If you have a 3.0 GPA, college is free all the way up to the doctorate level.
And if you are over 62, any college course in the state university system is free to take as long as you pay for your own books and meet the pre-requisite.

This has all been in place for over 15 years.

But you live in Maryland.... I regress.

Stacy Abrams' slim lead has evaporated... due to the recent Democratic love fest regarding the dismantling of ICE and promoting aggression against Republican politicians.

I want hear this explanation too....

A liberal talking point with no logical equation available to back it up sure makes my day.

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for the 5,000+ out of state voters who decided the New Hampshire outcome to show up like they promised to when they filled out their intent forms.

How can there be any valid polling while the GOP candidate is still undecided?

Cagle and Kemp are neck and neck in the early voting for the final primary to be decided on July 24th.
The internal polling is showing a rejection of the prior allure due to national Democratic politics.

The DNC, with the helpful leadership of Perez and Eliason, has cut Abrams off at the kneecaps. Just watch... Abrams will need a voter turnout of over 75% to win. Still possible, but unlikely.

Interestingly enough, Hillary Clinton also did the the math and came to the conclusion that she could become the President of the US WITHOUT the need to "win back" the less educated whites.

    Math is interesting.

In other words the GOP is relying upon voter apathy and suppression of minority voters again.

    Got it!

Hillary's math was 100% correct in that the MAJORITY of the electorate wanted her to be POTUS.

Perhaps the thread title would be more accurately worded as:
"How Should The Democratic Party Win Back Less Indoctrinated Whites?"
    or
"How Should The Democratic Party Win Back More Educated Whites?"
but to be more totally accurate
"How Should The Democratic Party Win Back Less Indoctrinated and More Educated Voters?"

That's rather insulting to Hillary. I don't like the woman, but I don't think she's a complete idiot. She isn't stupid enough to think she didn't need to get 270 electoral college numbers to win the White House, and I have no doubt that had Trump won the popular vote and she won the electoral college she'd gladly be President today. Why? Because that's the system. Who cares about the popular vote?

No one runs for President caring about wining the popular vote, that's not our system. They care about getting past 270, they all go into the contest knowing that is the goal. Winning the popular vote is like being satisfied that your team threw for more yards than your opponents. It doesn't matter, what matters is the ultimate score at the end of the game. She lost, mostly because she ignored her own campaigns warnings about the rust belt. Not surprising honestly, she's never been a very good politician.

Unfortunately for her that majority resided in a state that was already going for her. Too bad that she didn't understand our electoral system.
