There is no evidence that the level of voter fraud in this election is higher than in past elections. None.

The ONLY difference is that the loser of the election is claiming, without any justification, that there is fraud. And many of his followers believe him.

 

President Trump got about five million more votes than the Dems expected which put them into a situation where they resorted to drastic measures that has exposed how election fraud works...... but this is good news...... because what they did is being exposed and election fraud will be much, much, much more difficult do organize in 2024 because.... from now on..... the people who will be approached to do this will know that in the future they will likely be caught and prosecuted.

So with all of this strong and incontrovertible evidence, will all you trump supporters unequivocally accept the outcome of the court cases?

After all, they should all go trump’s way, correct? With this mountain of evidence. Right?

 

My guess is that "unequivocably" won't happen this election cycle. The wholesale mailing of unrequested ballots casts a shadow on the results and half the country will continue to feel wounded by it in the same way that the other half felt wounded by winning the popular vote and failing in the electoral vote in the last cycle.

I don't doubt that Biden won the election but I understand the feeling of illegitimacy that many feel. We had a pretty acceptable way of conducting elections in the past and changing that is bound to cause problems. As you can, it has.

 

I worry that this will disenfranchise voters in the future. Why bother voting if a dead person's vote might just cancel your vote anyhow? Why bother voting if a glitch with the voting machine is going to switch your vote to the opponent anyhow? Why bother voting if your vote is going to be hopelessly outnumbered by tens of thousands of suspicious "last minute" votes? Your vote in meaningless in the face of fraud on the level this election suggests.

Either that, or we're going to have to go to a stricter system of in-person voting with ID, period.

It would have been one thing if Biden had fairly, legitimately, and clearly won, but instead this election will forever be clouded with suspicion, and plenty of thinking people (on both sides) will forever wonder if their guy "really" won or "really" lost and if their vote "really" mattered.

As long as Trump's Voters actually believe that sort of Unfounded Conpiratorial Talk maybe they will be less likely to vote and the Democrats will win all of the future elections.

Election officials, most of whom are Republicans, have made formal and public declarations that no such fraud occurred in their states or districts. To so claim that this election was stolen is to completely disrespect and dismiss the more than 75 million of us who voted for Biden.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — During a Pennsylvania court hearing this week on one of the many election lawsuits brought by President Donald Trump, a judge asked a campaign lawyer whether he had found any signs of fraud from among the 592 ballots challenged.

The answer was no.

“Accusing people of fraud is a pretty big step,” said the lawyer, Jonathan Goldstein. “We’re all just trying to get an election done.”

Trump has not been so cautious, insisting without evidence that the election was stolen from him even when election officials nationwide from both parties say there has been no conspiracy.
