Because reaching a consensus is technically possible. It's just incredibly difficult, however nothing physically prevents it from happening.

Yet it's fine if a woman has to sustain the life of another without her consent??

 

I do not advocate that abortion be made illegal. If a woman wants to abort, she can do that. But I just want to tell her that what she is planning on doing amounts to murder.

How is it possible "technically" to reach a consensus when it hasn't been done since humans first walked the earth?
