Abortion is legal.
Abortion laws failed long before the internet, pee sticks, and abortion drugs.

Every law fails to stop all offenses. Didn't you know that? There are still laws against killing born people, too.. Has it stopped all murders?

Except that no one is arguing to abolish laws against murder, rape, etc. Murderers must be separated from society because they are a threat to others. Those who have had abortions are not. Why do you keep inventing things to argue with?

Expressing ones opinion and forcing it on others in the form of laws are two different things. Caring has many levels. Some only care enough to enter text on forums, while others spend a good part of their life providing care. Between these two extremes are all levels of caring.

 

Of course. So you should be able to express whether or not rape abortion is unnecessary if it doesn't endanger the mothers life and you should be able to express it without "forcing it on others in the form of laws."

The fact is that you don't think that it should be legal for parents to kill their kids, right?

 

A woman may get an abortion regardless of whether or not others deem it unnecessary. A rape victim may decide to keep the baby. All opinions other than hers are irrelevant.

Those that kill their parents to get their inheritance aren't necessarily a danger to society, but we still put them in jail.... IOW - No, we don't put murderers in jail only because they are a danger to society. We also put murderers in jail to discourage murder.

Since you don't care for children at all, what should your title be? "Anti-Baby"?

 

No one is arguing to reverse the law on murder or rape, but you aren't arguing to reverse the law on abortion, one of the reasons being that it wouldn't stop abortion even though it is no different to rape and murder in that a law against it wouldn't stop all occurrences.
