this is an opinion piece from the Federalist that I think represents a good idea. I too am irritated by uncostumed teens looking for candy without putting any thought or effort into a costume. I like this idea. ttps://a.msn.com/r/2/BBP3qWT?m=en-us&ocid=News

WOW. I guess I can afford to get ripped off. It's only candy and it's only one day a year.

They should change the name of this article to "A Study in Leftist Thinking".

    I loved this part:

The solution? A tiered candy system

Even ****ing Halloween has to have a victim hierarchy.

You could give minorities twice as much candy and punch the white kids.

Stick a piece of broccoli or celery into their candy bag.

    Oh I did.

Once to understand it, then I read it again so I could tear it apart piece by piece and laugh at the person who wrote it.

    This was another great section:

If you feel your inner grinch rising as you open the door and see who awaits, reach for the jawbreaker and vanquish your sour mood with the undeserving.

So basically, if you're a leftist with a singularity instead of a soul, this is the article for you.

Sad about Trump? Punish them before you even open the door and sooth your inner megalomaniac.

This whole piece screams "GET ME PSYCHIATRIC HELP PLZ".

Had a boy dressed up as a soldier come to my house, maybe 6-7 years old. He was autistic or some type of learning disabled. His mom and dad stayed a ways back to let him ring the doorbell himself. I opened the door, he said trick or treat, I took a knee, Placing my candy bowl on the ground between us, looked him in the eye and asked “are you an army man?” He nodded yes, I said “coool, I’m an army man too and army man gets extra.” And plunged both of my hands in my bowl and came up with probably 2 pounds of candy and plopped it in his bucket. He spun around and ran to his parents saying “army man gets extra”. Parents gave me a heartfelt thanks and they were on their way. I could hear him going down the sidewalk “army man gets extra, army man gets extra, army man gets extra.

Yeah, I can afford a few kernels of candy corn for the non dressers to keep the tradition alive for the rest.
