    MY POINT?

Given the fact that the Replicants have "stacked the court", that's not the way it should go.

To right the present wrongs, we need a Dem Congress to overturn the majority held presently by the Replicants in both chambers of Congress (the Senate and the HofR). Even then, that wont work entirely to stop-the-mess because any bill passed by a Dem Congress will be vetoed by Replicant Donald Dork.

I DO HOPE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE SEE THE INCOMPREHENSIBLE MESS THAT WE'VE GOT OURSELVES INTO BY ELECTING MAJORITIES OF JUST "ONE PARTY" IN ALL THREE INSTANCES (THE EXECUTIVE, THE LEGISLATIVE AND THE JUDICIARY)!

Historically we have very rarely ever done that. But, when doing so, the consequences are no different than what happened to Germany in the 1930s with its Right-wing Nazis.

    WHAT MUST BE DONE

For a treatment of the subject "Divided Governance" see this WikiPedia article:
Divided government in the United States from which this excerpt:

    As a nation, we must:
*ALL start thinking about the way we vote. We must also get off our fat you-know-whats AND VOTE! (We have the sorriest voter-turnout of any developed nation.)
*And relegate all the presently expensive
electoral chutzpah to the back pages. Governance is not a football game!

So you won't comment on the close elections I referred to as in

You don't know, I just told you about Virgina, ONE vote. Are you pleading ignorance the Virginia state election resulting in a TIE? I may have to search back in your post because it was discussed. Don't take my word for it copy and paste "virigina election tie" and pick your own.

Franken beat Coleman by 225 votes, you are pleading ignorance of the Franken/Coleman election and the recounts and lawsuits in that contest and votes somehow showing up? Don't take my word for it paste "franken coleman election" and pick your own.

The Bush/Gore election and Florida 2000 and the final margin you REALLY don't know about that?

And now we are posed to perhaps have a RECORD number of close, very close elections won by the slimmest of margins. Where do you get the idea that voter fraud is a non-issue because it has to be rampant in done in huge numbers to affect an election and what say you now?

Well if it is so terribly important, why hasn't a Republican Congress with a Republican president and a RW republican SC done anything about it?

Well why don't you guys on the left stop running to a district liberal judge and try to stop every effort to do so?

But you dodge my question about the canard of illegal voting having to be done in HUGE numbers for it to affect an election so we SHOULDN'T do anything about it?

I have no objection to stopping illegal voting as long as in doing so we don't disenfranchise anyone. But that, of course, is the purpose of the republican call for voter IDs, just as their gerrymandering, exact match name checks, refusal to count provisional ballots, requirement of voters to have street addresses, lack of a paper trail for voting machines, and every other trick is.

And now you are talking out both sides of your mouth. You question why the Republicans don't do something about it and the clearly state you oppose what needs to be done. And you false claims that Republicans want to disfranchise voters is not supported by your list which are simple pragmatic measures STATES can do they are not FEDERAL matters which is why the paper ballot thingy in Congress did not go anywhere, no jurisdiction, and the only provisional ballots not counted that I know of are those that are not enough in volume to change the outcome, which election are you talking about.

And of what am I confused or is this your "I can't refute what you said so I'll get snarky now" moment?

I thought the idea the Left was trying to promote noncitizen voting to change political demographics was a dumb conspiracy theory:

I don't see the problem. Why shouldn't you have some say if you live here and pay taxes? How about we call any plan to limit voting to citizens only what it is? The Bigots Only Bill
