Fact is Trump turned off independents himself. The way he acted, behaved, his childish antics along with his schoolyard bullying tactics. Independents didn't like him as a person from the get go. They just disliked Hillary more. 57% of independents disliked Trump in 2016, his in your face campaign style and as a person. 61% disliked Trump in 2018 as they voted their dislike of Trump in that midterm 54-42 for the Democratic congressional candidates. 60% disliked Trump in 2020 as a person, his rude, obnoxious behavior, independents voted for Biden 54-41 over Trump.

Trump was never like as an individual or a person. He was just too brash, to course, too much of an abrasive person. I don't think many independents could get or go below his obnoxious, uncouth personality to actually determine how he was governing. They just didn't like him and that was enough to influence how they voted. That isn't unusual and is usually the case.

Once again the "big day" has come and gone.
The only thing apparent is that Wendy Rogers and the rest of the "stop the steal" squad are wrong again.
It is time to move the goalpost back again for the umpteenth time.
    Good luck w/ that!

Hint: September 20th came and went and no, the election in AZ was NOT decertified. Also, the results were not a mistake. Joe Biden won Arizona. It's really that simple.

Better luck to you next time, eh.

They already spoke, it was already recorded, checked, double checked, recounted and audited. It's over. Get over it.

No. Quite the opposite, actually. Specifically because Independents have no dog in a two-dog race, they tend to inform themselves far better than hyperpartisans.

Education can help you to understand this point.

I don't understand why they don't understand that even Trump has NOT put his money where his mouth is. He has not spent one dime of his ill gotten gains to fight for "election integrity" and somehow they overlook that. Why should non-billionaires finance a non-existent conspiracy told by a sore loser lunatic when he won't even do it?

Ya ****. Arming our enemies with billions in military equipment?

    Who cares!

Flooding in the country with covid positive illegals from the south primed to flood.our social.services? Not a big deal!

Destroying our dollar through mass inflation? So what?!

Doesn't answer anything but hand picked gimmie questions? That's nothing!

Doesn't matter that Biden is a pedophile. We solved the mean tweets guys! Phew!

What is today, is today and what was last Nov 2020 was in Nov 2020. Think about who Trump lost to. An old, bland, uninspiring, unenergetic candidate who stayed hidden in his basement for most of the campaign. I believe any other Republican other than Trump would have trounced Biden. Independents never liked Trump, 57% viewed him unfavorably in 2016, but he was one lucky SOB to be matched up against Hillary Clinton whom independents viewed 70% unfavorably. Trump won independents 46-42 over Hillary with 12% voting third party against both Clinton and Trump. Add up Clinton 54% along with the 12% who voted against both, you have 54% voting against Trump in 2016.

2018 61% of independents still viewed Trump unfavorably, they voted 54-42 for Democratic congressional candidates. 2020 60% of independents viewed Trump unfavorably, they still didn't like him. Thus they voted for Biden 54-41 over Trump. Trump defeated Trump in 2020. Biden let Trump hog the airways, the spot light, Biden stayed hidden, letting Trump be Trump and letting Trump remain the voters, especially independents why they disliked him so much. Very smart political strategy on Biden's part. Let Trump be Trump, he'd already turned off roughly 60% of the voters. Let him remind those 60% as to why.

The choice, the election took place in Nov 2020, not today. Although I would imagine one would get just about the same results.

I think in 2016 almost any other Democrat other than Clinton would have trounced Trump by 10 points or more. That almost any other Republican would have beaten Hillary by 15 points instead of losing the popular vote by 2. That in 2020, almost any other Republican than Trump would have easily beaten Biden.

Republicans and Trump supporters fail to recognize how much Trump was disliked by his rude, uncouth, obnoxious, in your face persona. It wasn't Trump's policies that beat him, it was his personality. Fact is as history shows, folks usually don't vote for someone they dislike.

His policies are all that matters because those are what drives the country. Any hysterics regarding his personality out the ignorance of the individual

It seems ignorant people vote. What are elections? Basically beauty contests, popularity contests to many folks. It's been this way ever since all the states went to the popular vote right after the civil war.

Both parties know this. It completely baffles me why a party would nominate someone disliked and unwanted by a majority of Americans. It shows that they weren't interested in winning elections. In order to win elections you must convinced the unwashed, the ignorant to vote for you or you lose. It pretty simple.

I think most folks want to think elections are all about the issues, policy. There're not. History shows that on average 92% of Republicans and Democrats will vote for their party's candidate regardless of who that candidate is. So it's the R and or the D behind a candidates name that's important to them, not policy, not issues. Independents which now make up around 40% of the electorate these days, they're more prone to vote for who they like as a person or vote against who they dislike as a person. They vote usually for the most charismatic candidate. They voted twice for Reagan. Ronnie had charisma way and above Carter and Mondale. They voted twice for Bill Clinton who hard charisma out the ying yang over Bush I and the dour Dole. Independents voted twice for Obama, very charismatic over McCain and Romney.

Now I wouldn't call Bush II charismatic. But he had a down home quality about him. He beat two statues, Gore and Kerry, two candidates totally lacking any trace of charisma.

Now 2020 was more about personality than politics. Independents after four years of Trump's childish antics and schoolyard bullying tactics grating on them, his very unpresidential behavior. His behavior more like a four year old spoiled brat than a president, Independents went for the only adult in the room. Again, very simple and easily seen as long as 5 years ago.

Now as ever, Trump is Lord of the Memes and King of the Trolls. No matter how seriously Trump himself may believe in the grand 2020 conspiracy to rob him of an electoral victory he did nothing to earn and practically everything to lose against a candidate who was a shoe-in by comparison, most of those who exhibit endless displays of public affection for him online and purport to support the election fraud belief are most likely just doing it for the keks and in hopes of annoying their educated "normie" superiors.

Well, if Arizona has just cause to decertify, then let them. With all due respect, I'm not from Arizona and I have no understanding of the matter to sign the petition.

There is nothing to like about Biden. As you say, he remained hidden in his bunker. Cowards normally lose.
His cowardice was illustrated when the Taliban defeated Biden.
