Howard Schultz, former CEO of Starbucks, is making statements that leads one to think he is running for President in 2020. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/06/05/how...cal-topics-gun-control-taxes-immigration.html Isn't he a typical Clinton, Obama, Democrat who is hitting hot button social issues while really catering to Wall Street bankers and the wealthy? For example he says he is so concerned about the national debt. But he says nothing about instituting an ad valorem tax on corporate and personal assets separate from income and capital gains taxes. The ad valorem tax would be defined exclusively for retirement of the national debt. Schultz doesn't talk taxes other than saying the Trump tax changes were wrong. But the annual budget deficit could be addressed by increases on corporate and personal tax rates at the higher brackets. His entire aim appears to be to counter some of the Democratic left's ideas. For example he is against single payer healthcare. In short, Schultz appears to be the latest attempt by the liberal Clinton/Obama wing of the Democratic party to defeat the leftist wing that is gaining strength.
From the OP... Wow, you nailed reality in such a precise and laconic manner. I need to take lessons from you! In writing posts. Too bad the lower IQ democrats are unable to recognize this reality. The DP would implode if they did. They already lost the working people, at least the white working people.
I think you ate jumping to conclusions which may never be culminated. He said he is considering options for his future nothing more.
The leftist wing is gaining strength because that's what their voters want. Why would they vote for someone they don't agree with? What you should be looking for is the popularity of democrats who are leaning even more socialist. This person stands no chance if he's against the liberal agenda.
