The Board Chair is often seen as a meeting facilitator. In reality, the Board Chair responsibilities are far greater than that. The Board Chair maintains focus on what is best for the company or organization. He/she facilitates good board leadership and governance and sets the tone for the meetings. Working collaboratively with the CEO or Executive Director, the Board Chair molds the board’s culture and work. An effective Board Chair influences the direction and priorities of the board. It’s an active role that engages the board members, building upon each member’s individual strengths.

Board Chair responsibilities are designated to meet the needs of the organization and vary accordingly.

    Chip Bergh on Levi's:

At that point of time I had two grown boys. Today they are 34 and 30 but go back to five, six years, they never wore Levi's but some other denim. Levi's was not even in their consideration! I saw this as America's original and iconic company in distress. Being a marketing guy first and foremost, not a brand or a retail guy, and I thought to myself that I might do one more thing in my life from a professional standpoint, to lead a legacy and turn around one of America's treasured assests. It was just too great and opportunity to pass and that's why I joined.

Whatever you do, don't listen to the lies. Even India is going through pain and suffering with the upper level changes. Smoking, of which India has had within their culture and life for millenniums, is undergoing such a drastic change with their newly implementing laws and regulations and policies, that some have claimed that India is turning into a Booming India. Booming as in Bass Boom...

Trying to receive the notices and acknowledgments of other Countries of such 'no-smoking' cleanness and value/worth, within India, is breaking down what India has been. Not for 100's of years but for 1000's of years. And with their system of Governing, which at one time had Kings and Queens and other Nobles as Rulers and as one of the 'older' Civilizations still existing on Earth, India's internal campaigning to be as the 'rest' of the World is causing India to even have their own Sacred cows being slaughtered in Plain Public streets and views with no Judicial concern.

All of this talk about monies and CEO's coming out of India being CEO's to top U.S businesses has caused India to lose their own self identity as Indians.

How U.S companies seem to be 'handing' U.S CEO seats to non Native born(s) is even the more frightening when you consider all the negligent hiring and false degrees and Ph.D's that the World is seeing these days. According to a research source in The U.S, more than half of ALL new Ph.D's in The U.S are 'fake'.

look up MarketPlace and fake degrees. Former FBI agent even testifies that the fake diploma/degree Industry is a 'booming' International Industry bringing in Billions a year in their sales of fake degrees and diplomas.

Comparing Nobles to Politicians is as comparing Diamonds to Paper.

Granted that each Politician needs some kind of Proper Education, nevertheless, their Political tenure is often times a 'job' and not a Life. And usually with 'set limited' time frame allowances.

The Chancellor of Germany might be one of those that appear as if it is Nobility of sorts since the seat of Chancellor is life long or unless otherwise decided upon by The Ruler's Party heads/leaders/officials. But even the seat of Chancellor, in Germany, is a 'job' granted and not a Title, or Surname, needing to be kept in Good Repute.

It could be similar as saying Congress elects the President and when elected, the tenure is lifelong; just as The President's nomination and the elected Supreme Court Justice Seats' tenure is a life long tenure.

Head Justice, John Roberts, Jr. is head Justice indefinitely as long as Mr. Roberts, Jr. is still active, able and proper.

The same general lines is also applicable to the seat of Chancellor in Germany. As long as The Chancellor is active, able and proper, there should be no reason for any dismissal, indefinitely.

When any person/family/group/entity, etc... seeks 'approval' and 'acceptance' by others, they will, undoubtedly, face greater 'pressures' to adapt or conform or any other kind of thing otherwise.

Yet the ugliness of all of such things gets even uglier when you take into consideration Spiritual aspects.

Within each Country, 'old' and/or 'new', God has granted certain 'Protectors' to be within them.. Some have called them 'Watchers' as mentioned in The Book of Daniel in The Holy Bible. India, Iran, Iraq, Countries within Asia, all have art work, being thousands of years old, representing such 'Watchers'. Some have the depictions fitting into what Ezekiel, a Prophet of God, says are Cherubim. Cherubim are a 'holy' Angels within The Kingdom of Heaven where The Father and His Son have their Throne of Rule to the Entire Universe/Creation. These 'Angels', whose depictions are within every Country, old or new, are being used maliciously against other humanities and against other Countries. Yet these very 'Watchers/Protectors' know without a doubt Who Their Lord IS, also...

Turning away from invoking 'them' for evil purposes is probably the SMARTER thing to do. And if for 'human relational' reasons you might receive some kind of 'negative blame', it would probably be WISER if you refrain from being around those 'humans' from which 'negative blames' would be needed in the first place.

Why associate with those whom always need to 'correction'?

Human relationships are wonderful and very enjoyable but if my own family members are being neglected of my relationship and theirs is being to me, then i really should seek to improve on my 'negligence' excuses.

A recent U.S President stated a statement relating to Negligence. Mr. John F. Kennedy.

    What was that statement?

And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for youask what you can do for your country.”

1 Positive contribution to The Country is most definitely to:

'Take better care and have better relationships with my OWN family members'.

is this even Mr. David Woodley Packard? Finding any articles or any sort of information on this man almost doesn't exist. Although this Mr. David Woodley Packard is supposedly a child of one of the founders of Hewlett Packard, you would think there would be more information about him in Business circles and even in General media. But almost nothing... zero.. not even a picture or bio or anything..
