Hunter Biden agrees to House Oversight Committee testimony

They keep catching the car and then.........slinkin' away.

 

I can think of lots of reasons why a defendant might not want a public hearing, but it doesn't make sense for the prosecution to want it held behind closed doors. Can anyone help me...what reasons could the prosecution (or Congress) want it to be private?

 

They don't want transparency. That's the issue.

 

They used to say only people who have something to hide plead the 5th.

Today its people who demand a public hearing have something to hide..

You cannot make this stuff up.

 

Of course. That's what it looks like, certainly. I'm just wondering if there are any reasons - beyond that - for Comer to not want transparency.

 

When it turns out everything was completely legal, you will still accuse them of being criminals.

 

The first hearings, that were open, didn’t go well for Comer. The evidence was exculpatory. Of course he doesn’t want the truth to come out.

Well, this must be a disappointment to some conservative posters who think Hunter will do the same thing that Steve Bannon did.

Easy solution for Hunter, should he want to go that way..... Show up to the GOP deposition, take the 5th on every question (MAGA is now OK with that), then schedule his public hearing and answer the questions then....

 

They have been very forthcoming with subpoenas.

 

A) It’s a public way of showing an attempt to comply with a Congressional subpoena.

B) Lowell is trolling Comer on the illegitimacy of his impeachment inquiry. The reason he listed House Republican’s public comments stating they lacked the evidence to open an inquiry in the letter. The votes don’t exist to legitimize the inquiry in the House.

It’s a cover the bases for my client and a put up or shut up communication. It’s highly unlikely Hunter Biden will ever testify on any other terms than what Lowell laid out.

Well, not too many Lights.... Hunter Biden has led a pretty hard life for somebody who should have led a soft life....

Hunter didn’t break any laws. He’s allowed to do everything he did.
But the car accident that hospitalized him, and killed his mom and sister wasn’t his fault

 

Its unclear if he broke laws or not related to finance. The drugs and prostituion is definitely against the law. Plus just the damage done to his image and health as related to such things, the neglection of family. All his fault.

 

Nah he’s allowed to have drugs and hookers. Same way trump is allowed to ignore subpoena.

 

If you wish to come to that conclusion and incorrectly believe there in an equivalency there lol then by all means.

 

Some hookers are illegal but not these ones
