    The government can't control a single hurricane, but they can control the entire planet's climate with taxes.

    Trust them, give them control of every aspect of human life. It's for 'your own good'. You can trust the Government...

    Not just "want to"... They already ARE... Plenty of governments have imposed "carbon taxes" and other related taxes on "sinful" things such as that.

    Here in the USA, numerous Democratic Presidential nominees are bouncing around the idea of adding a tax to meat products due to "climate change".

    Actual taxation is going on as we speak. More taxation is being discussed as we speak.
