    Unregulated capitalism is like the game of Monopoly, one guy ends up with all the money. We had a taste at the turn of the 20th century with the like of Getty, Vanderbilt and Carnagie.

    You won't have too, because there are many organizations that provide food and/or shelter for those that need assistance. Gasp!!!! Many of them are religious organizations, like the Salvation Army, Hunter's for the Hungry (my charity of choice), etc. Not every answer is big government. What are you afraid many people might 'find religion'?

    None of those organisations have the ability to provide effective healthcare to an entire population of a nation; especially to those in rural areas.

    I agree that not every answer is big government but it is the answer to healthcare.

    Government is why health care is so expensive. Take drugs for example...A normal patent is good for 50 years, but not drugs, they are only good for 20 years from inception of the drug...It can take 8 years to get a drug approved, this leaves 12 years for a company to recoup its development costs and turn a profit.

    I come from Australia where I pay far less for drugs than an American and it is directly down to government intervention.

    According to the 2016 State of World Liberty Index, the 10 most libertarian countries are:
    • New Zealand
    • Switzerland
    • Canada
    • Australia
    • Ireland
    • Finland
    • Netherlands
    • Denmark
    • Chile
    • Luxembourg

    In GDP per capita, Luxembourg ranks 2nd.

    So I would say that Luxembourg is the libertarian country with the best economy.

    So the libertarian country with the second highest GDP per capita also has socialized medicine, welfare, maternity leave, unions and social security? What definition of libertarian are you using?
