Both of these are unacceptable, and we should always condemn and do whatever we can to fight against both of them. But if I gave you a magic power to snap your fingers and make just one of them disappear forever, which would you choose, and why? 1. Racial Profiling 2. Police Brutality
I would remove all laws that make people criminals for their personal choices. If there is no victim, there should be no crime.
Goofy choices. Both are bad. Perceptive Profiling however is good. It’s how we survive. It’s how deer tell the difference between a dangerous bear and a harmless squirrel. Early man survived by holding a spear to a bear, not trying to pet it. Judging appearance and behavior is instinctive. Profiling is all the data gathered from that experience.
