Chinese President Xi Jinping asked World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Thebreyesus to cover up the severity of the coronavirus pandemic in January, according to a bombshell Der Spiegel report.

As related to the UN's draft 'global ceasefire' Reuters explains that "talks have been stymied by a stand-off between China and the United States over whether to mention the World Health Organization."

"The United States does not want a reference, China has insisted it be included, while some other members see the mention - or not - of WHO as a marginal issue, diplomats said."

The US ultimately rejected any reference to the WHO, even when the text was changed to merely denote “specialized health agencies” instead of a direct reference. US diplomats also reportedly vowed to veto anything with such language in it.

President Trump cut off funding for the WHO, which is a UN agency, after it not only severely downplayed the coming threat of a global pandemic (by only belatedly identifying it as such), but after the administration charged the organization with being "China-centric" and allowing itself to be Beijing's "disinformation" puppet as communist officials attempted to do PR damage control after the disease ripped through Wuhan and then spread far outside China's borders.

Over the past decade, Wuhan has emerged as the global headquarters for fentanyl production. The city’s chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturers hide production of the drug within their larger, licit manufacturing operations, then ship it abroad using deliberately mislabeled packaging, concealment techniques, and a complex network of forwarding addresses. According to a recent ABC News report, “huge amounts of these mail-order [fentanyl] components can be traced to a single, state-subsidized company in Wuhan.”

What are you talking about - "Chinese Plants in the Forum - Chinese disinformation" What a joke.

1) Not much bang for the buck having folks troll here - but have at it if there are any .. what good would it do .. this is a place where people will deny that the sun will rise tomorrow if it will help to maintain some religiously held political perspective.

2) China does have some influence on our electoral process - well - they used to - not so much these days. Many nations and foreign influences have an influence on our electoral process - some more than others. China ? - not so much.

To me there are several signs that are indicative of someone posting from Russia:
1. No space after period. I know this seems silly, but I was born in Ukraine, fluent in Russian and Ukrainian. In my experience, in 99% of the cases when I see no period after punctuation, the writing is in Russian or Ukrainian. I don’t remember ever seeing writing like that from someone I know for sure is from the US or UK.
2. Collapse of the USD. Or the US into separate independent states. I know there are a lot of Americans who believe in that, but nothing matches Russian obsession of the subject. And as I was watching/reading their news almost daily, I can tell you with confidence that the predictions of collapse of the US have been around at least on monthly basis for at least 30 years and counting.
3. No criticism of Pootin. Never. I’ve tried to get a few trolls around here to post something critical of that hominid and was never successful. I’m sorry, but no real honest human being can say they have nothing to criticize Pootin for.

A few names mentioned in this thread fit into a paid troll / useful idiot profile. At least that’s my opinion.

Also, there are some trolls on this forum that seem to post in very controversial subjects extremely over exaggerating the issue at hand. Some of those post as blacks and seem to try to provoke confrontations by posting outrageous statements. I have no idea if those are foreign trolls, but it is a known fact that Russia did attempt to incite racial tensions in the US in the past, so who knows?

Seriously, never worried about the foreign plant issue on any forum I have posted on. I have heard about Israelis plants, Iraqi or Saudi plants, Russian Plants, Slavic and Serbian plants. Its real easy to see patterns of posters and figure out which ones have a very narrow interest in what they post that seems inconsistent with anything but a single foreign policy perspective that reflects an agenda of influencing our views in favor of a foreign national interest.

Whether they are paid to hang out here or are personally invested because their family lives there, or they are refugees, or are driven by hatred towards a foreign army that killed their family 10 years ago, they really aren't so sophisticated, or so interesting that they keep my attention to their threads and posts to us here at PF are pretty immune to their obvious and simplistic propaganda and the volume of readers makes it a waste of their energy.

Don't worry if they are paid. Don't worry what country they are from. Don't worry what brings them here . Just read the content of posts and decide if they are worth your time to respond. In other words treat those posts exactly like any other. If they are fun to read, and answer, then that is why you are here anyway. If they are not, well don't let them bore you or frustrate you. iGNORE THEM
