I'm not Jewish, but I'll certainly admit and agree that your post is accurate on all accounts --and then some. The absolute only thing about Jewish people that I (a conservative) don't like, is that because of zillions of past social injustices committed against them -- by everyone, they are ultra liberal and since forever have paved the way for liberalism all over the globe.

But awesome and wonderful Jewish accomplishments and contributions to the world, as you have delineated in your post, are undeniable and indisputable. You and I would not even be exchanging messages this morning on the internet were it not for Jewish scientists and inventors. Of course, someone else may have figured out these awesome discoveries much later on, but who really knows.

No invention comes of itself. All knowledge and science is an accumlation from the very first to the very last.

The Middle Eastern Civilizations are the bedrock upon which all modern civilization is formed. Scientific and cultural achievments and progression also rely on political power and resources. The Middle Eastern powers, around the time of the early 20th century, were definitely on a decline. Europe and the Middle East/North African civilizations were generally neck-and-neck until the discovery of the New World and the massive boon of resources and wealth that came from it- destabilizing markets everywhere, but severely affecting those of the African and Middle Eastern regions. Imperialism further destroyed the stability and capacity of self-development of these regions which left Europe as the region where power, stability, resources, and wealthy currently being taken from other areas was amassed. Jewish people have created many things, but so have many Middle Easterners...and Chinese. But with a shift in stability and power came a shift in who was making them. And, as you may note, with the advancement of time and technology comes an increase in the frequency of new inventions and innovations.

This also goes to show that by this time, not only where Middle Easterners and African's relatively powerless or declining towards that state, but culturally shunned and considered inferior. So even if they wished, there was not much room for many of them to travel abroad and take advantage of the knowledge of the empowered.

But ultimately, if you want to slap racial labels on achievements, the construction of civilization, itself, and the basis for all learning goes to the originators.
