    A little profanity is okay, but there are forums where the trolling is just out of control. You can barely have a discussion of any kind.

    Well, I've been posting a few weeks and I'll most likely be moving on. Sad to say, but this board has been a disappointment. It's the same Copy/Paste from fake news sites you run across in the other RW echo chambers.

    I know what you mean it is the same everywhere you go in chat chambers and it is boring there is not enough stimulation wherever you go it is the same old same old.

    I usually copy/paste from LW "echo chambers", but I never share their Fake News stories. I bet you can find some real news on the "RW echo chambers" if you actually review their copy. Real News is everywhere, even though Fake News has become the norm. :)

    Several voluntarily left over the board's past tendency to favor the right wingers while others were banned. Thankfully, the board is moderated more evenly now but it is too late for many of these people who will never return.

    Just for myself, I think trump and the GOP won the election and deserve a chance to drive policy.
    So far, not much other than the hated executive orders... which are suddenly beloved.
    I guess We could continue to discuss trumps tweets, or trumps golf game

    That is definitely true. There are some pretty uncivil boards out there, and this place is a nice break from that, so I guess I don't mind the rules so much after all (although some of them I still find to be kind of arbitrarily applied).

    Establishment politicians? Yeah, we're tired of representatives that do not respect their elections promises, flip-flop on everything, work primarly for their own profits and their big guys club's and shame us on the international scene.

    Perchance, we have Trump now. :cheerleader:

    To get back on your OP, that I somehow felt too, I think debating has taken second place next to cheerleading. Many Reps/Cons etc answer anything with "we won you lost" or "Yeah but Hillary/Obama..." while many Dems/Progs are just too hysterical (I'm looking at you, "Ronstab") to pay any attention. That doesn't exactly whip up the desire to have a profond discussion with me.

    But of course there are these excellent posters who keep you on. Hence my persistant presence.

    PS: I am getting real pissed by the profanity editor, sometimes, If I can somehow understand the extreme reaction to vulgarity, I resent the fact that I can't express myself the way I do it in real life. I feel kindergardened.
