I doubt the truth of November jobs created number.

The recent announcement by the bureau of labor statistics that 266,000 jobs were created in November doesn't sound reasonable to me.We know that retail sales jobs have been disappearing at a record pace all year as retail outlets close up and go out of business.The same is now true of many of our fast food and restaurant chains either closing up all together or downsizing.Mining and the steel and aluminum industries are not growing and with the advent of electric vehicles the auto industry has been laying off thousands.And farming jobs certainly aren't growing in November so in what field and where are all these jobs being created????I think someone is fudging the numbers.

The numbers will probably be revised up like they usually do.

Not sure what sector the jobs are going.

 

You tell me where all these jobs are being created and in what fields???

 

My guess would be seasonal holiday jobs, like every year at this time.

 

I also doubt the truth about the November jobs numbers. They will most likely be revised upwards to the same extent that the September and October jobs numbers have been revised upwards.

Even hospitals are closing there doors and going out of business 83 rural hospitals located in 26 states closed there doors from 2010 through 2018.The November jobs report listed creation of 45,000 jobs in health care which I DO NOT BELIEVE and also Leisure & Hospitality gaining 45,000 jobs which I also do not believe it is another declining field as foreign visitors to the USA are way down.

 

Why don’t you just read the report to find out where these jobs are?

It's not hard to imagine. 266.000 jobs across 50 states with 300+ million people.

dude we have lost about one percent retail outlets, and a lot of those jobs are being picked up in cyber shopping warehouses.

 

Back up a little and realize that this is the holiday season, and all kinds of extra help is added every year in the last quarter of the year.
I'd bet that if the numbers had been negative (anti-Trump) instead of positive (pro-Trump) you would have total confidence in them.

I dunno. But do you think that the Trump administration is padding employment figures the same way that the Obama administration did by counting new government hires and contract workers and part time workers as REAL job market hires? I somehow don't think that the same fawning media that let Obama get away with that sort of slight of hand would also let Trump get away with doing the same thing.

 

Let's not give Trump too much credit. After all, all he did was to get the "boot of government' off of the "neck of business". We did everything else.
